Yesterday while riding to the library, (becoming rarer now) I saw an ambulance picking up a causalty along Lentor ave.

One scrambler parked grass patch of the divider, another bike, not sure what it is, looks like a YBR or RXZ leaning on the kerbside.

Hope both made it. :(

Then after dropping off my books at Ang Mo Kio Library, I went to pick up my girl girl to plan our wedding things.

She hugged me so tight! :shy:

She was wearing skirt, and "kiap" her legs tight tight on me because she said afraid will "zhou gen", so we swapped to car on the way to dinner.

Today on my way to school, coming out of SLE towards Lentor, saw a long queue, so cut to the front.

In the front near the traffic light junction was a Citroen, smashed up pretty bad, blocking the left lane. So everybody had to cut right, causing the hold up.

It looked really bad, the passenger side of the windshield had a hole in it, and the engine was busted up, pieces of it on the ground. Don't really want to think about what happened, but if you are driving, please always put on seat belts, and if you're riding, please ride safely.

Yea, its French make if i'm not mistaken. And not sure, didn't see anything damage to the surroundings nor any other vehicle. LTA was there, now that you mentioned it, there were I think 3 SMRT staff there, because of the maroon shirts they were wearing...

Today while riding, I had a close one....

I was going into JB for petrol when my bike felt a bit weird, when braking, the brakes were super efficient, but when throttling, like a lost of power.

Inside my helmet, my brain was thinking.

"Huh??? Why like that?

So revv abit more, test, test. 3,500 RPM at 3rd gear, normally already 60km/hr, now only 45km/hr only."

So quickly signal and go to the left most lane, but when I stop throttling, (no brakes applied) the bike slowed down very fast. When I tried to stop to see what's wrong, cannot brake!!!!!

But cannot brake is because the brake lever already very tight! Cannot press down at all! *gasp!*

Wah! Die lah! Dangerous! The front brake must be already touching on the disc!

Sh!t! sh!t! sh!t! sh!t! The disc better don't expand anymore and lock up the front wheel! If it locks, I am going to die!!!!

I don't want to die!!! I am getting married soon! So with my heart beating like nobody's business, I kept to the left lane and crawled like a turtle 40 km/hr all the way to the petrol station. Luckily nothing happend.

At the petrol station, I checked the brakes, it's really touching the disc already, and very hot, if dismantle can take out and use to iron clothes, got Chao Tar smell some more. So waited there for the disc to cool down, while considering my options. Crap! Ah Gua lane is on the other side of JB town, if want to go there, have to make a big U-turn. Might as well ride back to SG. Got to solve this on my own some how, or I am stuck here. So I got out my tool kit, look for the allen key to opened the brake fluid container, but one of the keys was missing! Cannot be so sway the whole set got one missing is the one I need right?!?!! Wah Lao! Cold sweat plus hot sweat come out liao. (weather very hot)

Heng ah! Luckily its not! But when I opened the container, the level of fluid was normal. So I tried to bleed the brake lines, but the brake disc protector was in the way. While trying to get around the cover, the uncle there ask me what's wrong, if not pumping have to move the bike away. So I told the uncle my brake jammed, but I parked here next to the pump, because I also need to pump. Since I was also trying to stall for time for the disc to cool, I happily took my time to pump.

And the pump only got 95. Haha! So happily pumped 50 Ringgit of oil! :)

By then the disc already semi cooled, but when I tried to push. Still very stiff, the uncle very nice help me push the bike into the shade. Malaysia Boleh! :)

I quickly open my tool kit again and dismantled the brake disc protector. And using a spanner loosen the brake line a bit and let some of the brake fluid out. After 3 drops came out, I tighten the nut and checked out the brake.

Hey swee swee leh!

But just to be on the safe side, I loosen the nut again to let another drop drip out before fixing back everything and paying for the petrol. :)

Then it's back off to SG!!!

On the way back got an ambulance came very fast from behind, using the turning lane to cut all the way to the front, sirens and lights blarring away, but at the red light junction kena stuck. So the first car in line go right into the yellow box and the 2nd car lane split to let the ambulance through. Once through, the ambulance driver waved his hand frantically out of the window to signal side coming traffic to stop and went right across the junction to make a right turn! Fantastic! Again... Malaysia Boleh!

Then a thought stuck me.... must be someone inside the ambulance fighting for his life. Hope he makes it. :pity:

The rest of the way was unbelievably smooth, every light also green! My DR BIG made short work of the distance without me having so much as to put my feet down until I reach my carpark. :)

Yesterday while riding home at about 2am, was riding on the left most lane behind a taxi. He was super slow, but unfortunately the middle lane got a lot of racer taxi/car. fed up, so I horned him, so he moved aside. then i saw the middle lane clear, so i switched over. wah lau, the taxi uncle suddenly turn on high beam and gave chase to me. my balls almost dropped, cos he was driving like 100km/h, but my bike can go only abt 80km/h. suddenly, he stopped, cos got 1 passenger flagged him down along Boon Lay Way. heng arh...

today evening while riding home, again along Boon Lay Way, dun noe why no one driving along right most lane just b4 the junction towards IMM, so i happily rode on right most lane. was riding quite fast, abt 80km/h, but saw red light, so slowed down. suddenly, one of the f**king stupid, kuku driver queing in the middle lane switched lane WITHOUT signal, and he was so damned FAST. although i was slowing down, but still was abt 50-60km/h, almost banged into it, just past his car in microseconds and stopped with a stoppie! the driver oso stunned, and his car was almost 7/8 in the right most lane. my heart really skipped few hundred beats, up till now i still not feeling too good.

silent hunter, is this year no good for wedding, why i oso kenna some stupid thing like these. sigh...

Then you never scold him ah?

Then give him a 2 hour lecture on road safety.

After that ask him to write a 3 page reflection on why he should not be driving.

To me, I think this is one part where the msian is better than sporean. They will always try their best to give way to emergency suituation, like driving up kerb to let the amublance pass. But i Spore, i c b4 nobody gave way to the poor fire engine. Sad, hope Sporea can learn to give way more.

i was on the way home from yishun dam and decided to go to esso to draw some cash from DBS,and true enough, I met the most IDIOTIC rider in the world today at 2.45am. i believe he is a mac rider at Serangoon North avenue 9 but i know he rides a super4. He just pump Petrol at esso along Yio Chu Kang Road. After pumping petrol, he sped of with his bike without paying(i guess)? revving loudly and riding aggressively making his way out of the petrol kiosk. lazy to make a far u-turn, he went againts the flow of traffic and upon seeing oncoming vehicle he decided to go up the area where it divides the two road.he managed to go up but got stuck trying to go off the area. He revved so hard as though his bike was a 4x4 assault vehicle that he didnt realize that alot of mud came out from the ground. HIS BELLY PAN GOT STUCK along with the bottom area of the s4 i believe its called the MANIFOLD(not to sure) attach to the exhaust. upon seeing his struggle, i pitied him and went to gave him a little push to help. He was quiet hesitant of my help and told me he can manage. But upon inspection of his bike, the bike was like badly damaged. He only have an RPM METER. His bike is filled with tapes. HIS Exhaust the best, its like pancaked. I decided not to help after that. He managed to get off from the divider. BUT I've never seen a rider so ignorant. Ride s4 for work, bike damaged till so jia lat, ride so aggressively. Gosh, this kind of people exist. being a rider myself, i felt F*** up seeing riders like this man. to all riders out there, your bike resembles you on the road. Ride safely and maintain your vehicle well. cheers bros...

Yes horrible.

I waited until 5:25pm for the rain to subside before going out.

From Yishun ave 1 after Sembawang airbase to the crementorium already took more than 1/2 an hour. Traffic was according to radio totally unpassable, drivers are advise to follow the traffic police instructions. :giddy:

Like as though that would help. I had an impluse to just turn off the engine, get everyone out of their cars and the whole lot of men go move the trees to the side of the road. Easily 100 car, vans and lorries stranded. If everyone had the balls to walk out of their cars to do a bit, then there would be no such problem.

Waited for 40 miuntes then signalled left and went off to SLE/CTE to take the long way round by PIE.

Luckily I did, because by the time I reach Toh Guan, radio still report that the Mandai stretch towards woodlands (and KJE) was still unpassable to traffic. But even then PIE also jam, I could run faster than I was driving. Spent an hour crawling along PIE, went it ought to take only 15 mins...

Motorcyclist are the nicest people on the road, try not to kill us.
