Today, after riding stop at the POSB atm. waited in q. infront of the deposit atm, this FT from india. looks like a manual labourer to me . many of his friends waiting a bit far away from him. now this guy, one bundle at a time ($5000) put his cash in to the machine. he put 3 or 4 times. that will be around almost $20k. wow. how in the world???

maybe they all came out of MBS happily

P-plate should be an attitude to safety and riding. There's always more to learn.

Today while riding...

I was on my way to buy Prata for my wife at her favourite Prata shop, when nearing Yishun Park where there is some construction going on, from far, I saw a "Ah Bang" wearing riding jacket with luminous green vest and black leather riding boots. His bike's side boxes also got orange stickers like going for touring like that, but he was standing at the side looking down at something in his hands. Maybe bike broke down looking at iphone for tow number, so I was thinking of stopping to help, but while riding nearer, I couldn't help but notice the way his bike and clothing resemble TP patrol bike.

"Turtle...." I thought "Make until machiam TP like that scare people on an early Sunday morning!"

Siiiiii Kaaaaa Leeeeee.... when I got nearer then realised he really is a TP!!!!!

Wao Lau!!!! See TP working on an early sunday morning, really cannot believe it!

But the best part was when I got to the junction, another TP patrol car turned in driving towards me on the opposite side of the road.

Muahahahaha!!!! 2 groups of TP patrolling neighborhood locations where there are construction going on! On a Sunday morning!!!! Never ever seen this!in my life !!!

The "Ah Buang" as I passed him by was looking rather "sian: taking down notes on a clip board, either of heavy vehicles or cyclists or both, can't be too sure which, because as I turned out at the junction, 2 cyclist passed by on the other side of the road too.

Motorcyclist are the nicest people on the road, try not to kill us.

I don't think the rest of the forumers are keen to watch your video of riding past 2 TP officers, regardless of which day of the week it is. Sounds really boring to most of us, i believe

Hope summons against bikers minimize and summons against errant drivers maximize... Like the PIE lorry driver and the bukit timah car driver who hit the pedestrian walkway concrete barrier and Burst into flames... And the tampines lorry driver... Haiz... U see most fatal accidents are because of drivers... Seldom bikers... Haiz... Rest in peace for those who lost their lives to prevent further loss of lives... I'm eternally grateful for the kids who lost their lives... They made the road lesser by one maniac driver... Rest in peace... I'll pray for them...

This morning while riding to work on PIE towards Tuas, there was a jam, as usual. No choice, have to lane split. Abt 1km after adam rd exit, there was this woman in her 30s or 40s driving a camry in lane1, extreme right lane. Her left tyres were on the broken white lines. As a result, no bikes could go through. I decided to follow as road was wet and there was no opening for me to overtake her safely. Soon a queue of motors built up behind me.

We must have followed her for about 500m, and she never once went back into her lane. I then decided to clutch in and rev twice loudly after the bike behind me horned at her. It gained her attention, and she looked at her mirrors, and then pretended nothing happened and continued.

Luckily, the kind driver in the vios on our left saw, and shifted left more so we have a safe gap to pass her. I took the chance and went past, but then i heard multiple horns once i got clear. Looking at my mirrors, i saw that the camry is now straddling both lanes, nearly sandwiching the super4 which was behind me between her camry and the vios. No doubt she purposely dowan let the bikes past.

Wished i had taken down her licence plate number, or better yet, got a cam to record everything down. Anyone got any recommendations for a cheap but reliable cam that can be mounted on helmet or bike?

Atas attitude lah!

i recalled a few months back in this forum, i "complained" about drivers straddling 2 lanes whenever there is just a slight bend or corner. i said that their driving skills can't be that lousy cause they won't be able to obtain their driving licence as even P / L platers can drive better.

well, that was very long long time ago in prehistoric 2012. what an outdated dinosaur i was. that is 'out' now. o_O

welcome to the modern times of 2013...straddling 2 lanes even when just on the STRAIGHTS is the latest 'in' fashion. wow! i can see it happening more often on sg roads this year when the year has barely started! nowadays 'fashion' move very fast leh! :cheeky:

be warned, dunno what next year's 'fashion' is going to be? alert: seen on stomp of pictures of cars parking in 2 lots...cars parking in bike lots, no wait that is already the normal 'in' thing to do since long long time ago...

This morning while riding to work on paya lebar road just after turning in from upper serangoon road, approaching the bus stop and filtering to middle lane already.

Dumb driver in a MPV suddenly decided to cut to the middle lane without signalling to pass a stopped taxi. Made me jam brake and fishtail...

Luckily the light was nearby and it was red so I went beside him and gave him a look. I think he saw me gesturing violently behind earlier because he wound down his window and "tried" to apologise. Gave him the F of his morning and some 2T smoke when the lights turned green.

Rainy day, full of cars, bloody drivers who signal while I'm in lane and force me out because they were stupid enough to be greedy and go in any free lane, only to realise it was a turn left or right lane, fockin idiots. What I do is simple, I'll rev at them, still like attempt to force me out, I'll simply swerve in front and ride damn slow. So many drivers who are unfit to drive these days, somemore in the comfort of your metal shell, safe and dry still so impatient. _|_
