Realised my coolant is empty, filled it with distilled water from 7-11

(Realised coolant empty) upon checking? You mean temperature warning indicator never light up for you to realise that?

Some car park in CBD area don't allowed bike at all even we're willing to pay car rate.

Free parking mall is getting lesser and lesser, in near future, they might even charge hourly like Vivo City. :(

I think Vivo still ok somewhat. They charge $1 plus for first 3 hrs i think, then after that is per hourly. Unless spending more than 3 hrs, it's ok to park there i guess. Usually if i'm just going there for dinner, i dun mind paying. otherwise i'll park at Seah Im if staying for longer.

Seah Im is another weird place though. If u park near the mrt entrance, sometimes you'll find your bike shifted and a kup squeezed in beside you. Even lock handlebar no use for 2B bike. Usually i park at the far end to avoid this.

RIDE.

seems like most j plate do it. they should summon those park in between the bike lots. I saw once the summon lady summon the bike parking near the entrance of a motorcycle car park near century square tampines. The bike had a coupon but was not in any lot and slightly blocking the entrance.

It's $1 for first 3hrs, then $1 per hour subsequently at Vivocity.

They do. Here is the problem. How would they know which bike to fine? Someone could have shifted your bike to be in the centre instead of his and you were the one occupying the lot first. How would you feel if you were fined instead of the culprit? Can just issue both the fines but again same thing how would the innocent person feel?

Oh, they summon 2 bikes in one lot? WTH sia, in the lot what. Sometimes, when i see those kapcai MY or SG got space for me to park my YBR in the same lot, i will. Same if i see lack of lots. I will try to park to one side so a kapcai can share the lot with me. Of course i dont go and shift other people bike la. In these kinda case, i will not handle lock in case they wanna move my bike around.

Sometimes, especially at hospital, i park outside of the lot, no handle lock. Sometimes i see my bike magically end up in a lot. Nice kind souls. So i learn from them and i do the same. When i get out, i try to put the bike into the lot i just got out from. Of course if its kapcai, vespa, small scooter and 2B street bikes i will put inside. 2A and above, bike expensive, heavy, i also dont wanna risk it. You park outside lot is 100 bucks wheel clamp or 70 bucks saman. We riders need to help each other.

Can argue all you want but in the end still have to pay the fine. Better safe than sorry. Great that you are doing something good however did you know you can be fined for moving other bikes without consent by the parking wardens? Rule 3(2) Pushing/Removing motor vehicle without the consent/permission of owner or driver.

Encountered a young chap with female pillion on a FBC plated SP thinking I was inviting him to a race. The idling on my bike suddenly went low and so had to throttle to 2krpm consistently to keep engine running till I get to a place somewhere to adjust the idling. While waiting for the light to turn green. Up came a smoky SP and stopped on my left. Awhile later lights turned green and the fellow twisted the throttle like he was in a drag race and kept glancing a few times to his right to probably see where I was as he was making a left into PIE. Could not make out the plate number as it was clouded by the white smoke. These are the times I wished I was working for NEA.

A couple of weeks ago my left mirror broke off and flew away while riding.

Had to go JB Ah Gua Lane to buy a replacement set after that. :(

tdy while i was abt to ride, felt quite pissed off with the parking attendant that issued me a parking ticket. Took out the knot (tied part) from underneath the cover and realise that the whole cover was quite loose (i usually tie it very tightly). Saw the knot was different from how i usually tie. Managed to untie it aft a little difficulty, took out the cover and realise that a parking ticket was place nicely in between the tank and the seat. Realise that the cover was torn at the edge of right side mirror which was initially still in good condition when i covered my bike on sunday night.

My guess was that the parking attendant untie the bike cover to have a look at my number plate, submit the offence on his handheld device and tie back the cover in a slipshod manner. On a side note, are parking attendants allowed to open the bike covers? In my case, the parking attendant damage my bike cover

At least the attendant didn't tie the knot into a dead knot......

Can save alot. One time fine only 8 dollars. Imagine 6months only fined once save a lot already. Thats the reply I get from a fellow rider (uncle) at my place when I asked sometime ago.

Passed by Simei today. Saw a number of bikes at the roadside and an empty taxi stationary at a T junction coming out of carpark. Not sure what actually happened. Nice to see a number of riders stopping by the roadside to help. Did not see any wounded person though. Would like to stop and help but it will only create obstruction. Perhaps if I was there abit earlier would definitely lend a hand.

Its an old ver S, got indicator also suspect not working. Bike has cooling fins but I dunno to what extent before overheating might affect it. So far still runs.

Speaking of road shoulder. Stopped at road shoulder on BKE last week in the evening to change my headlight bulb because it was blown. Seeing that I have a spare with me I chose to stop and replace the bulb as it was getting dark and it will be unsafe to ride with no lights. As I was replacing the blown bulb a police patrol car with its blinkers switched on stopped behind and it was not helping much with the replacement process instead it made it much more difficult to see. Thank you for the blinking lights.

Well. They were trying to alert motorists about your presence I guess
Hope so and not to quickly shoo me off the shoulder. Probably should have stopped a few metres away as how the red triangle is placed from a break down vehicle and not directly behind my bike.

Today while riding on AYE, i suddenly had the most terrible rumbling in my stomach. Had to make an emergency exit to answer the call of nature. Almost crapped myself.

Why so serious?
