Johan. scaphoid bone is one of the 8 bones located at our wrist. many of these bones trapezoid, hamate, and such are very difficult to see from xray if there is a small fracture. you probably had a ligament tear and thank goodness got better. for few months you feel the numbing, throbbing sensation at the lower base of your thumb. sickening feeling, because i got it too because i became superman for awhile and landed on my thumb. lucky no fracture too

 

For me, my wrist hurts if it was pull or pushed with certain force. I actually didn't notice I was fine after a while because I looked after my wrist and not to put too much strain on it.

 

Had a hairline crack on my wrist too. Only was discovered by the doctor after a few x-rays and MRIs after being discharged for a few months. But it recovered soon after.

 

Thumb? Must be really excruciating with all that weight and force. Glad it is all good now.

 

Were you in a cast? That must be tough because when I was in cast that few hours, I realised that I can't wipe my ass and I'll have difficulty removing my contact lenses

I won't quit riding. Just about everyday I find a way to get back a way to riding. I'm sorry to say that I forgotten that I loan you a spanner. What were you tightening? I'm trying to remember but the memory is fuzzy. I'm glad to be of help

Not in a cast. The weird thing is I only found out after being discharged for a few months. Experienced a sharp piercing pain while trying to do a push up. It hurts to the point I cannot even complete one. Went to the hospital again and gone for an x-ray. Nothing found. Had to schedule for another MRI after which by then its healed up. Maybe due to me drinking lots of milk?

I find "they " tend to be more focus on the road unlike their siblings behind the steering wheels. While we guys are very cautious , checking blindspot and such, these "HOTSTUFF" very very tight.hahahhaha

When I see such eye-catching riders/pillions/bikes, I instantly go on the alert and pay lots of attention!!!

Got a WhatsApp message and photo from my parents that my bike parked downstairs has been burnt. Some naughty children threw matchsticks on my bike cover and the whole thing caught fire. I am overseas holiday now and totally ruined my mood. :mad:

Police report made and they called the ntuc insurance but the guy said I need to make a report personally when I come back. Wondering what will be the outcome. If I claim from insurance the ncd will be gone?

If yours is a tpft or comprehensive, yes, you can claim and yes, ncd gone. If your insurance is 3rd party only, can't claim.

Yea. Sorry to hear bout your burnt bike. Hope they catch those buggers and at least teach them their lesson. Hard to get anything out of them. Speak to their parents, see if they're reasonable ppl.

Yesterday while riding into JB it started pouring. The damn rain seems to be following me everywhere. I rode out of the cloud and not long after, another cloud, probably the brother of the first cloud came along and rain on me again. I was wearing my new camo rain coat bought from Mr DIY in JB and water was going in. It was performing so well the first 2 times too. (worn 3 times only)

 

When I got back to SG, I went to Kaki Bukit to buy some stuff. Sure took me a long time taking a round about route, best thing was that some roads were closed because they are building the new MRT line. KNN MRT build underground close road for what? Anyway, already here already Lan Lan suck thumb have to find a way around. So I went round the industrial estate in the pouring rain with poor visibility while I was rounding a curve, a KNN taxi horn me from behind before overtaking me. I turn to look at him to see what's wrong, and guess what.... ....I missed the turning into the industrial park which was right after the curve. Well how fast do you expect me to ride in the rain? Spoil my already rainy day.

 

After getting the stuff, while riding pass Ubi on the way back, I can't help but feel pangs of nostalgia.... I miss my PLANET!!!!

 

While I was going toward Jalan Kayu, I saw a familar outline from afar.... looks like a Hayabusa. When I overtook the Hayabusa, the rider looked at me and I realised the rider was an Ah Bang from my carpark riding with his pillion, so I waved back and we rode back together.

This kind of impatient driver irritating sia. They didn't look far ahead & didn't observe the traffic is already slow moving. When they do that,they will still end up behind another car infront while we happily splitting the lane passing by them hahaha...

Few days ago saw a J plated bike snapped by the speed camera on PIE. Question is how do the authorities issue the fine to this motorcyclist? Capture plate number but is the plate number even legit? Can just sell off the bike in his country or even use a fake number. Or simply not come into Singapore anymore. Anyone knows?

i doubt lta or whoever will not care. example my block. j plated bike enter/exit the carpark bypassing the gantry and leave his bike there the whole night, not once but going for years. told hdb but nothing is done

today while riding, almost 5 minutes to workplace. a white suv SKM nearly and i really mean side swipe on my left side. yellow triangle. he wanted to go right but there were many cars infront of him. i am going straight. he was going into shenton 88 carpark. damn . i cursed and swear in my helmet. then cool down and glad nothing happen. i am very lucky my six sense worked just now. if i had not braked in time or noticed on my left mirror and keep continue moving at the same speed 50km/hr, i would surely have fallen down.

of all days, didnt put my cameras.
