Hi,

my bike sometimes while at the traffic light stop, then when i wan to move off, in 1st gear, the engine will die after i release e clutch a bit. then i gotta like trying starting the bike a few times then can. a few times liao. y huh?

mine is TA200 phantom..

When you release your clutch do you trottle your bike? for my case i can release clutch yet the bike can move without even trottle but if it is up slope without trottling then it will die off perhaps you should change your spark plug since you need to start a few time my own opinion only

Similar issue faced but guess this is related to the portal and hence not to concern....

I just adjusted my chain by adjusting the rear sprocket. After adjustment, when i travel on a straight road, there is no problem at all even at high speed.Even when i let go of my hands, the bike will travel straight.Only when i make a sharp bend to either left or right, then will i feel a bit of whobbling at the rear wheel. When someone sits behind me,the wobbling gets worse when doing sharp bend.I check the markings. Its equal. Is there a problem or is it normal when doing sharp turns and the rear wheel wobble?

I dont think my idling speed is high, as it give me a good mileage of reaching 400km before hitting reserve. If too low, travelling low speed will cause the engine to stall..

i've only got 38km/l...that's roughly 340km before reserve. How'd you calculate yours?

I calculate the mileage travelled.. usually i will only pump when hit reserved.. Never really use any calculation.. base on my odometer only. Or perhaps i am light?. i weight 61kg nia.. :cheeky:

bike will go "tak tak tak..." and cannot start. also, your neutral light is severely reduced when you press the ignition button (this is my experience from TA200 only)

guys.. a noob question here.. not about phantom but SBF,

i recognize the rating under the nick once u post something as "L, 2B, 2A, SBF Lacer, Tee Pee, Mod, Admin, Writer" and so on..

how do they rate forumers ? by no of posts ?

kinda awkward, coz i see some forumers with "TeePee" and not riding at all, or start to get a bike... and some big bike rider, or seasoned-tourer with "L" tag. just something came across to me...

dats a rating for forum 'seniority'... given by number of posts made.
