you could probably look at getting your brake calipers and pump serviced, and your brake fluid bled...

any idea how much that would cost?

Hi everyone

Just got a TA200 a few weeks ago, and slowly getting used the bike and riding on the road. :p

When I'm using 1st and 2nd gear at very low speed (i.e. throttle just open slightly), the bike tends to jerk easily. When I open the throttle more and increase the speed, I hear a "nnnnn" sound like the engine is being stressed. This only happens in 1st and gear, 3rd gear onwards everything sounds okay.

Is this normal?

"nnnn" sound means ur rpm and sped high

liao change to higher gear dun drag gear later gearbox will spoil

I know what you mean by dragging gear...but the "nnnn" sound comes in even at pretty low speed when I just open the throttle slightly at gear 1 and 2 :giddy:

At gear 3 and above when I open the throttle the same way, don't have this "nnnn" sound....

Yes. So now I ask questions.

What 'nnnn' sound? nnnn? nnnnn?

Hmmm....how to describe ah? It sounds exactly like "nnnnnn".....don't know if that makes it clearer....:faint:

may be you can...

1) check the tension of your clutch cable. maybe the connection is too loose so the clutch plate can't really funtion properly?

2) check if the clutch plate is worn out?

Hi guys, i'm confused by some differences between the servicings at planet and koon's that i need to rationalize...

Today i went to planet to change E.O. I was only given 1L... no need top up another 200ml which is usually the case @ koon's. But after running awhile, everything cooled, dip stick lvl was at the max point.

Asked ah chong full servicing got pao what, he say something check this that... didn't really get it lol but when i ask if got wash carb, he say NOOoooo.... if wash carb will spoil easily... but @ koon's full servicing always wash carb....

Oh lao jiaos... pls enlighten a noobish one...

edit: oh btw... can tell me the full servicing @ planet pao what and how much :D

Yeah, im curious bout the wash carburetor part. Some ppl say that if no problem, NEVER disturb the carb while some ppl say that wash carb is a good thing to get rid of the residues. Lao jiaos care to give comments?

I want to see the world and i'm pretty sure the world wants to show a little something to me.
