Is your biting point very near?

how do i know if my biting point is near? near to..? my friend ever rode my bike ask me "you dont like to squeeze your clutch all the way to enable you to change gear 1 is it..?"

i dont know man..but sounds like his clutch is gone o_O

and.. any idea how much does a clutch cost..?

how to know clutch gone?

this is another question i am curious to find out..

problem is getting a little dangerous here.. i use engine brake when slowing down and just imagine instead of engaging to 1st gear to come to a total stop i engage to neutral to surge forward for a few metres before coming to a stop..

Yes. Too much rotating mass at the back...easier to skid in the wet, esp if downhill

Imagine mixing wet+downhill+ left turn

Ps: I just realised you have a new nice siggy, UPS! :thumb:

that should mean its far, since your friend already asked you if you don't squeeze your clutch lever all the way blah blah. Read up your RTT if you don't get what is free play

Don't teach people the wrong thing la... who say no need chain lube, what rubbish. Tell me your rationale of such a claim, I'd like to hear it :faint:

Not necessarily so, I changed the tyres on my Phantom TWICE at midview. Both at very affordable prices. PLUS they did include tyre balancing FOC (1st time balance both wheels, 2nd time balance front only)

Many motordiams wouldn't even bother to balance wheels for 2B bikes, especially Phantoms.

I tried a couple of different chain lube on my ex-Phantom. Maxima chain wax was the best IMHO. I usually jack up my bike, roll the rear wheel & spray on the top of the lower span of the chain. One thing about wax is that it should be applied when the chain is hot, so I usually do it at the end of the day when I reach home.

If you do this, your chain isn't going to last very long. You think lube everlasting gobstoppers ah?

That's what I'll do. Most motordiams will do it this way as well.

Sounds to me like you are deliberately trying to shorten the lifespan of your chain.

I use Maxima Chain Wax. :)

No need wood and jack.

I use the primitive method.

Push the bike until the 'Linked' section.

Squat down and spray.

Still squatting, 1 hand hold handle, 1 hand hold sissy bar, push the bike forward.

And looking at the chain, push until the last piece of the chain that was sprayed almost touch the spocket (Teeth).

Then duck waddle to be besides the bike again and spray some more.

can someone advise me? My bike now has engine oil dripping from the 3 pipes near the side-stand. Last time I did not have this situation. After I change my engine oil, this start to happen. Every morning also have some engine oil leak from those pipes. Is it normal?

diff rates apply to diff times. Approach your friendly driving centre for a much better quote. I'd just tell you less than 200 for 2a.
