Next time = try parking on a slope of any kind if u can 1 nearby. It does help when u need to push start.... :cheeky:

hope all LJ riding the big fast and shiny sportsbike to help me in my ques ah....

 

How to properly tune a rear set of GPR shocks???mine is a 370mm with piggy tank, the current problem i'm facing is, if my setting is at the softest, its firm on flat road, but if over bumps, its getting more like a water bed feeling, where my gf keeps telling me its damn bouncy, but if i screw down 5 mm its a hard tail bike....so is there anyway to compensate the rebound rate???instead of making it firm???

 

anyway its fitted on my X9....hehehehe original shocks gone fiak liao...sourced from planet a FOC pair of shocks....

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

NB:LJ is lau jiao not the other L@n Jiao....

Is the shock gas type or liquid type? Anyway, tuning shock is not a simple thing. It base on total weight. Differences vary with load or without load. You can have one but cannot have another. Take your pick. Average setting might be the best solution. Btw, Gas good for tarmac, Liquid good for gravel.

Hi,

 

Recently I start to hear a squeaking sound coming from under the bike when moving. Sometimes it's there and sometimes not.

 

Any idea if this is something to be worried about? Thanks

Try bouncing on your seat when your engine is not running to test suspensions, try to find out whats going on with ignition on. Provide more details like what did you install before it happened or when it started and why etc? :thumb:

If the sounds only occur when moving and not when you bounce the bike while stationary, it may also be due to yr chain, chain roller or sprockets. Worst case could be your wheel bearings. try to find out where the sound is coming from.
