the oiler setup looks alright.

 

maybe can have the bottle hidden behind e pillion footrest instead? secure w/ velco strap or smth that is easily removable instead of cable tie?

run the tubes frm the inside of swingarm instead of outside?

 

saw tony's thread on electric oiler w/ dual oiling tubes.

that one looks more promising leh. the correct chain lubricating is to have both sides of chain lube mah.

why use cable tie?

is to properly secure the oiler.

if make it removable, the chances of bottle flying off or some joker and touch and pull out the bottle.

 

single or dual i find no difference.the oil will touch the chain when oil is being drip on the chain.

 

the correct lubrication of a chain is to to be on both side

 

it can only be done by hands only.

 

 

why make it removable?

it you dun feel like using it/selling away the bike any more just remove it

Maxima Extra also not bad. :cheeky: I find that belray cannot last long distance :(

 

 

 

Yeah like what you have described about OWS. I read that long ago too. Planet ah wei also tell me OWS stuffs not really made in germany. :cheeky:

what i read was ows puts more additives in their eo compared to all other brands, and its not so good for the engine, maybe overhaul sooner..??

 

my fren riding kr also recommended belray, agip too

 

actually they advertise their EO on focus too much on their additives, all the brands have addictives too. actually its no problem for the engine, no need overhaul

 

2 strokers using belray? i think its useless, use gear oil for 2 stroke bikes better

Guys, How much is a new cbr150r?

a random shop @ ubi quoted me 7k otr...

 

check 1 page back... a shop (WY motors i think) quoted me the same price OTR but used condition....

Cheap + fast = no good

Cheap + good = not fast

Good + fast = not cheap

machine price shud be ard high 4k (very hard to find, but u can try) up to mid 5k and more

coe u gotta check online..

insurance usually shops wan 1st or 2nd party..but u can cancel and opt for 3rd party if u wan

if 7k including insurance is cheap..:D

 

if not..must see whether its the machine/coe thats ex..hire purchase would be more ex coz of interest..

also, does it come with any freebies? iu unit?

agree on the point abt bike production.

bought my previous bike frm them 1st hand.

go there w/ a humble attitude. the boss may be less than friendly sometimes, otherwise, the prices there is ok.

 

need to bear in mind that their calculation for On The Road (OTR) pricing doesn't include the ERP unit price of about $157.

machine price high 4s? i asked they quote 5.7k and WY quote 5.8k

i think the market of bike are going crazy.

 

i remember asking Bike production b4. 5.3k but cant remember otr or machine price.

7k = machine+coe+insurance(1K+)Crazy...

No IU... assume no road tax,agreement fee, admin fee (aka hidden/ not yet said)

 

btw i'm 24 this yr

How come bike shop value our bike so high.... then when want to push back to them no value.... wtf.

 

They chop us to make a living...

 

buying 1st bike= chop one time

push back = chop second time

buying 2nd bike = chop third time

idk, nvr bought a 1st hand bike, possible to request them to not buy insurance on ur behalf anot?

guess gotta take some time hunt around for the best deal..:p

at least u were offered 7k..the first time i asked m1 motoring..they quoted me almost 5 digit sum for everything :faint:

still, rocklobster lagi best :sweat:

 

think of it..rather senseless

whats the point in chopping us? doing so will only earn them a bad reputation and generate much unhappiness

whereas if they offer us reasonable prices, they might gain a return customer..and recommendation to other bikers

that time go JB change air cleaner and air filter lah.........

 

the mech never fit back the fuel tube under the tank properly then it slipped out. so its a small problem, just like if ur underwear drop, just pull it back up again.

 

happened to zed also and now it happened to me!

 

eh but i was considered heng liao leh... within 10 minutes after i pulled over at the side, the EMAS vehicle arrived. reason: the guy was doing e'way patrol and spotted me. otherwise, according to him, i'd have to call for EMAS and wait approximately 1hr.

actually i already had the spares to change. just that one night i was going in with zed then we thought arbo stop by AGL fix liao then go makan.

 

but quite an adventure. a different feeling to be on the expressway with ur bike...... but moving separately :lol:
