er.. is it possible for us to do adjustment my ourselfs?

if yes where can we find the screws?

there r normally two adjusting screws on the carb;

one is for idling adjustment, the other is the pilot or air-screw.

it is normally set at two turns.

tat means turn screw all the way in (note: do not over tighten),

then it is back off two rounds.

try either way half-turn, it is trial n error.

then check the performance of the bike.

not all of the same make bikes will perform the same.

good luck.

there r pro n con running your bike rich or lean.

running it rich, u benefits from better performance n cooler engine (tat mean not very hot or overheat).

con is waste fuel n sooted spark plug.

running it lean, your bike slack in performance, engine very hot (overheat).

u might save on fuel but will burn spark plug n engine's exhaust valve sooner.

wah. so bad.... after reading this, noob sure scared to buy second hand KTM. :giddy:

Always ride safely and defensively.

Repair bike cheap and fast,

Repair body expensive and slow.

Don't agree on the performance part. A hot engine makes more power than a cold engine, and a lean mixture will always make more power because total combustion is achieved. Of course running it too lean over time will fry your piston.

my fuel consumption is about 30km/l. i dunno why it is like that. really love my bike! always riding above 110km/h on average.

The street is for show, the track is for go. Put up or shut up

my krr doing about 27-30 km/L

Tat means full tank easily hit 300km and above

tat is conservative riding...RPM max 5000....change gear abt 4000

last time my krr hit 320km before reserve ( >50% of the time with pillion, traveling speed around 60~120 km/h).

how i know, because i didnt switch fuel switch ( always on main) to reserve and its died half way on the road. not once, but twice and died at 320Km.. :faint:

A second of precaution is an hour of safety. It never hurts to ask.

no point comparing 2B bikes FC using the speedometer, cos the error margin is bery high

it always gives a higher speed = more distance travelled= better FC

so does it mean that e highter the km/l travelled e better??or less is better??now i'm confused..
