no la, not this weekend. i'm overseas and besides, im still waiting for the arrival of my lap timer. No lap timer go track also no use la...wun know if you're improving...

 

besides, after the last sepang trackday i also a bit scared liao...too many bikes! and all of different abilities, and do you believe i didnt even get one clear lap tat day?? maybe when they start to segregate between rider abilities then i'll head down....you?

Initially it was.... Than soon it becomes almost like a tok cok thread wif mostly CBR riders loh... But of coz we accept other riders to join in the chats lah...

 

doctor dol! hah! u're finally here! you should tell ppl that out of the 400 km u've ridden on the bike, 390 of them were ridden hard on the track laying darkies and letting ppl smell ur dust....

Last night my bike skid while i was on my way home.... now my fairing and the engine part were badly scratch... anyone noe how much will it cost if i am going to repair it till it look new again? btw is it possible to make it look new again?

you didn't have sliders on? if the engine casing is badly scratched, can buy a new one. add a gasket and it will look like new but price wise maybe more than $150 including labour charge. fairings going to be expensive too, very expensive ..

If u say downgrade to 1098 then u in the wrong side of gravity

id recommend you get it done at boon siew for the engine parts. just slightly higher cost but you get peace of mind with new fairings and stuff, cost is fixed and no tricks. if they don't have stock for fairings, need to wait for them to order though. if you're on a shoestring budget and the fairings are not badly broken, can also consider cheaper alternatives like what shiny offered..

i wont be sleeping on track lah. so many fast riders...sure must open eyes big big....and sure at times got shocked by fast overtakers on the corners....hahahaha...only thing i hav to worry is my concentration due to lack of rest. but i will try to sleep at work lah....hahahaha

yr eng casing how bad? if jus scratches, u can jus buy a carbon fiber cover....cost about 300-400. its ex but at least it will save yr eng. my fren skidded until it even damaged his internal of his clutch casing. so better get ready with sliders and carbon fiber cover. or better still...fix a crash bar...khekehkeh

Oh man.... Thats sad to hear... But as long as u are fine, thank god...

 

All the bike stuffs just use money sure can get its look back just the way when u just got ur bike (i noe u just got ur bike)... But human... U can nv do that (touch wood)...

 

As for engine casing, can always get a new 1... But as for fairings, if its not badly broken, just scratches and minor cracks, can go for MSF67's reccommendation...

Yeah bro... I just found out today.... Hahaha.... So coincident.... Was reading the bike magazine today at work... I think it was Dec's issue... Our own local bike magazine... The $2 one...

Hahaha.. Infact it is a road bike.. The same bike as all of u here.. Only dat im not as rich as u to own few bike and can be on bike everyday.. How i wish

 

Just to update.. Now my mileage already 550km.. All on track..

 

Guys, ive test ride all 600s (r6-07, zx6-07, gsxr600-07) and i just fell in love with the new CBR600.. My Opinion is, although out of the box, the R6 is a more powerful bike and more race ready bike but the CBR is a complete package bike.. It is very very rideable both on track and on the road.. The handling is superb.. The sitting posture is just right for me.. Ive only ridden it twice at Sepang and im really LOVIN it!!! So far, only Lightech Race Fairing and OHLINS rear shock is on the bike.. Now must go search for performance parts to make the bike more powerfull.. Power not enuf to fight against the R6.. In the MSS Race Series, more than 80% of the grid are the R6..

I also met Maman_600rr (this threat starter) at Sepang although he did not ride his CBR to Sepang, he happily stand under the HOT SUN at turn 1 as a spectator..
