i'm not fast.....its bcoz my bike is strong. not bcoz of me.....we hav a few guys here oredi having good lap times with jus a stock cbr6. whereelse me, my bike is mod with full sys and pc3 and bmc, plus i play sprocket......so my time has been cut down by all those...not bcoz i am fast.

yr model, with a full system and pc3....den u down front sprocket 1 teeth.....it will be good enough....i ride 03 model last time...same as 04. yrs is 04 rite?

Yes...but then i ask only...maybe when i paid up my bike going to install the big dinner plate size sprockets(53T) learn stunt......haha...just a thought la...got to find master to teach also....:cheeky:

Just a question, if change sprockets to more or lesser teeth front or back, wat good does it does??

front if u drop, means yr pick up faster equals faster respon...same as u up the rear......drop 1 teeth front is equal to up 2 teeth on rear.....dis is good if u wanna have faster acceleration, especially on track.....but u will loose yr top speed a bit. it will make yr REVS higher at the same speed.

 

if front up 1....its equal to back down 2.....dis will have slower response...slower acceleration....normally dis is for top end....for better top end speed...yr enginne less stress....good for touring long distance.

 

take note......changing yr front sprocket sz will affect yr speed. yr speed will not be accurate anymore.

 

changing yr sprocket ratio means changing yr gear ratio...so depending on wat u want...touring or track...drag race???.....if track...depending on wat kinda track......all this might need different gear ratio for best performance.

 

my sprocket set ups good for Sepang......but PG, a bit troublesome for some part of the track.
