hard run in / dyno - how long it take? how much it cost? any side effect to bike

normal run in - how long it take? every how many km must change EO? what is the average speed like on the road?

It's true: it's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than to ride a fast bike slow. Admittedly, though... It is MOST fun to ride a fast bike fast!

where exactly do u mount the horns?? cos my 05 cant fit the hella horn underneath the fork..when doing turning it will hit the inside of the side fairing..now making do with OEM car horn from a Lancer..

and i agree with the steel braided brake hoses..they are handy and with 400 u can change engine oil,oil filter,iridium sparkplug,flush and top up coolant and change steel braided brake hoses with Motul 5.1 for 400 or less..i intend to do them next week..perhaps we can go together since i live in tamp also..

run-in for bike, the best is hard run in.. just that very hard to do for normal road, need to use dyno, and u need to pay $$.. thus many choose for soft run-in...

but yes, I also thinking of getting a CBR600 '09 --> best sport bike in 600cc

hey guys,

 

i got qouted from BP machince price @$19.5k + coe about 920-1k +++ (TBA) + $1.2k insurance (basic on age 24yrs). I am not too sure is the price ex or reasonable. I havent ask about how many % they charge for interst.

 

anyone know any bike shop go for low down payment

 

19.5k for machine price is consider ex unless it is the model that comes with ABS.... But i seriously advise u go for the one with ABS... Go check it out in youtube, it will make a big difference between life and death.... And also, i think the ABS is running on electricity, so u can switch it off if u going for track...

 

But pls find out 19.5k is includin GST anot.... If its the ABS model, i guess GST in not yet included...

very contradicting & controversial topic bt running-in, best to read, research & up to ur own choice :thumb:

 

cbr600 is rated best in various mags & webs in 07 + 08... but with very few tweaks & updates other than the ABS fr 09' model, in 2009 the new ZX-6 & Triumph way on top from various reviews :cry:

On the 2009 model the ABS cannot be turned off- if the ABS system fails the brakes will still function, though.

ZX6 had did some improvement since for its 2009 model, but some still give best 600cc bike vote to CBR600.. but the fight is very close..

 

I think for MotoGP bike, they will go hard run-in, else I can't imagine Rossi or Stoner ride so slowly for thousands of km.. lol.. (anyway, wonder if MotoGP bike needs to run-in anot hmm... )

hard running in very easy......we ride together go PG track....den u borrow me yr brand new CBR, i hard run in for u around the track...FOC...u jus pay the track fee n fuel....:cheeky:

Hmmm.... Thats a little ex coz base on the lower COE that u're gettin compared to mine the other time... 22k OTR haven add in interest for the loan.... But den again, u haven say whether it comes wif ABS anot...

prankster 22k is incl of interest and etc... coe is 810, insurance is 1044. Talk so much also no use because i dont want to stuck with 2 bikes. If i dont let go my cub i will never get my cbr
