Where can wash and polish bike?

i went to macpherson washing jus now.. after chemical wash.. then snow watch.. seems like got white spots on my SP wind screen and tank.. the workers r clueless.. and i saw liao oso headache.. cham.. cham..

 

but the boss r smart and frenly to use wax to rub it.. and it managed to remove the white patches...

 

well, my pro arm and rim r shining.. they even clean my suspension..

 

the effort they put really nothing to say..

 

talk to a regular there.. he actually went there once a month..

the boss r cheerful chinese guy.. i heard the workers r from indo..

 

they did a decent job for me.. but something happened when i asked for the price.. the worker actually told me.. $10.. then later say $12 .. then say check with supervisor.. ?? try to earn extra??

 

kao, later i found out the sign put $10.. i din't complain to the boss.. since i saw him and another guy quite put effort on cleaning my bikes..

 

after chemical clean, snow clean again.. then the regular said, they neber did tat b4 to his bike.. so he will ask them to do the same to his bike..??? funny.. standard not the same??

for the charges of Caltex(Macpherson) washing.. $10 is for Monday to Thursday.. for Fri to Sunday.. there will b an extra charge of $2..

 

hope u dun misunderstand the workers there.. they are actually quite hardworking juz tat mayb they are tired due to washing bikes n oso washing cars so they may nt b careful..

 

if u spot any spots tat ain't cleaned juz point it out to them n they will wash it for u..

If you stay ard Serangoon Central, there's this car wash at Blk 253 Multi Storey Carpark that washes and wax bikes.

 

My ST11 wheels never looked so clean, and overall much better than washing and waxing on my own.. $18.

i realli needa get my bike washed but got no time... is there any place to wash bikes near the south side?? bukit merah etc? the washing wld include the cleaning of rims as well rite? and my sprocket area seems to be realli dirty.. and wld the chain be included as well.. coz i havent sent my bike for washing b4 except from my own hands.. but due to time constraint i dunt realli have the time to clean it nowadays..

*update*

just went to SPC before harbourfront food centre if you're coming from alexandra.. $3 for bike wash, boss set it up with some "special" workers but they're hardworking enough to try and wash oil stains off my bike. $3 everything clean and sparkling except my oil stained rear rim, told the boss its ok even after I took up his offer of washing again the 2nd time. Boss is a honest guy and service is good.

10/10 for service

8/10 for cleaning service.

20/10 for price

Not sure I'm allowed to do this, but have you heard of Purple Slice? It got great reviews and now marketed by Chopper Industry (owned by Dan Haggerty of Grizzly Adams fame).

Purple Slice is organic and eco-friendly. Just spray on and wipe off for a great shine with minimum efforts. Can even use it on hot chrome, your helmet and even wind-shield.

Just came back from a wash in marsiling @ spc (towards woodland centre rd). They did a pretty good job, $5. Its a good locale for me, seeing i can get the bike washed after a petrol run in JB =)

 

I noticed theres a car wash in Esso @ yishun ave 9 (or 8.. can't remember).. any1 noes weather dat place does bike wash?

I really don't know about west side, but i suggest taking a ride around your area and just asking any manual car washes you see at various petrol stations.

That's how i found out about the Woodlands SPC. If you do find one, post it up to sahre the good news.
