My T135 OEM chain after 15mths(10,000kms++) later looks and feels like **** in terms like performance and smoothness......:giddy:

Even though i lube it regularly with rock oil chain lube, you should see the chain when it was changed..........the old chain links was so stiff compare to a new chain.

Changed to a new oem box set of yamaha chain and sprockets(F15/B39)(cost less than $75).

Wahhhh......so much difference, better than the first original set of chain and sprocket.......damn smooth!!!:thumb:

I was wondering is it normal for me to wear out the chain in less than 12,000kms

even though i lube it regularly??

One thing for sure old wear out chains decrease horse power.......http://www.lafilleduperenoel.net/smilies/cat/transport/transport-lfdpn-038.gif

hey juz wanna share ma experience..

Using 15-38 sprocket now, its good in accelaration and also distance..:thumb:

But goin up hill is slow..

To make it straight she pulls it. To make it stand she rubs it.

To make it stiff she licks it. To let it in she pushes it. True?

Threading a needle is not easy..

15-38 good acceleration ah? funny lah.. i tot the smaller the rear slower the pickup but higher topspeed? bigger rear, faster pickup, slower topspeed? anybody agrees wif me?

unless u do other mods to ur bike i dunno lah..

who gets summoned for not signalling? i did..

dumb luck? maybe...

worse case scenario chain breaks.. worst case chain too loose(if dont bother to tighten) chain get stuck in sprockets= rear wheel jam= buang..

not nice lah if ur bike sound like some unmaintained phantom or s4(no offence meant).. the sound of the chain not nice lah.. nice meh?

chain life depends on riding style.. riding with pillion most of the time also can shorten lifespan.. best is to lube after riding in the rain.. take extra time to clean the chain when washing the bike..

anyway, too loose (too me) is when the lower part of the chain is able to touch the swingarm when u check the freeplay..
