my wii is from thegamelane so far no problem, got their warranty too. Just wondering why so cheap. Even the bundle are cheap!!

hi there.. i just got my ps3 set from another seller.. after getting it, i realised that the box indicates that the set is region 3.

 

i intend to use it for games only, while getting a separate blu-ray player for the movies..

 

so do i have to take caution when buying games? do i have to ensure that it is region 3 games too?

 

i'm sorry but i'm a real noob at this, and i dont know what to do, i've been looking at other forums for help but all give diff ans.. so thought i would ask u guys here, if u have tried anything or have any ans for me..

anybody can help me out, just wanna ask something..

 

can you take out the hdd of your ps3 and swap it for a bigger hdd (example: 320gb) without your warranty being void? because from the online reviews it seem that they clearly showed sony built it in a way that it is easily accessible to remove the hdd (left side, remove a blue screw).. however, when i asked a shop at sim lim the guy said "of cos touch the hardware sure void" ...

 

what do you guys think? any of you have actually swapped your hdd for a larger 1???

Changing your hard disk is simple and easy, wont void your warranty. I have upsized mine using WD 500GB. Do a search in gameaxis ps3 forum, there should be guide hidden somewhere.

PS3 uses 2.5" HDD, similar to laptops. I bought it at $130. Swapping HDD is easy stuff, all u need is a screwdriver.

Anybody is on DJ hero? Contemplating on getting the normal or Renegade version. The diff is just the set. But it look much better on the black & gold.
