MOVE OFF: 2230hrs

 

Itinerary:

2nd link -> Bukit Indah Kopi shop near old town kopi -> Gelang Petah R&R Shell -> Home

we've been riding everywhere across the horizon

riding with him has always been an entertainment

enjoyed the accompaniment thru the season

going bike shops for modding and customization

then this guy came and he's called kalyan

whom has his nickname as carmen

says he is just my hallucination

Anyways, we will have to test the 'starship lights' in heavy urban traffic tomorrow. Definitely a good test of hamster riding skills :D

 

Ps. Want to organise the TPY - > Balestier -> LAB sub-convoy? I will need to 'preposition' my bike for easy exit out from HDB Hub tmw.

 

pss. LAB to Mustafa is giving me a headache. Nightmare Bollywood style traffic.

Excellent, evening time video shooting.

 

Meet at "your" esso station, then I recommend heading down to LAB via Balestier. Go to the "270 degree spiral of doom" near HDB Hub to PIE westbound and turn into the little road right away, it's easier to merge with Balestier traffic than to take the other larger Thomson Rd exit.

 

Once at Balestier it's pretty much straight shot down to LAB.

 

If we went towards KPE be prepared to jam all the way down Upper Serangoon Road, thus the above suggestion.

 

I just got to put a note in my diary saying NOT to ride up into the MSCP or else I'll be stuck there until 7.30 like today. Luckily I had brought with me a whole case of little spare parts and I made a vacuum pump out of.. nothing :D

I'm quite allergic to the PIE at that time. Once you hit it it's like instant jam. I have to ride on the SH to get anywhere without overheating. Solo time attack down Balestier is more comfy for me (pwn the 0-60 traffic light drags)

 

Checked the map and confirmed, that under construction bit at Bendemeer drives me nuts. There'll be a 1km jam coming off the PIE in the evenings. Confident we can reach there in half the time taking the south route, which is actually slightly shorter and more direct.
