Glad that you have enjoyed the ride last night.

Oh well, I didn't.

And you know what? I hailed a tow truck after AYE exit to Clementi which the bike died at the bus stop.

Lucky, the bike didn't died at Malaysia. Else, gotta spent more money.

During the ride, the sprocket already got some issue. And also, the battery light kept lit up on/off. The whole cockpit light flickle up light christmas tree! Seems like the battery wire loose or the starter relay got heated up again this time.

Bike is now at Kallang Cycle which was tow by Ah Huat. Mike is looking into it and most likely putting on sprocket/vhain if he have stock.

Hey, my bike did RM5 at GP ESSO and another RM37 for the gas last night at Shell. Lets do it again next week.

Cheers!

hey vince, thought you guys will stop at the side of the expressway.

so i went first, in the end didn't see anyone there. haha.

so rode 50km/hr, waiting for you guys to catch up, but never see anyone.

paiseh never say byebye. :D

Hi Gary,

Yeah, normally I'll stop there for a stick of cig before bidding bye to everybody.

But last night, many seems tired (donno why) and they mention they will head straight off. Probably you didn't heard that.

I was guiding ahky out of the custom. and I wanted to do it slowly, so he can follow the procedure in case he decide to go in on his own.

When we're out of the custom, I did signal to stop at the side of E'way. But somehow ahky overtook me from right and shoot off. He then stop at the chevon marking to wait me up instead.

I apologise to ahky for the wait while I was stopping to adjust the chain for the 3rd time.

ahky: I hope you managed to find your way home after we exit from AYE to Clementi. I am sorry for I am not able to guide you from there coz the bike won't want to move again after the stop at bus stop.

Cheers!

oHhh... i was wondering what was happening when u guys stopped there. but

thanks vince for guiding me along the way. but next time i know, i saw an exit to KJE last night, next time i can use that route.

gotta apologise to all for my slow riding :giddy: , my first time to malaysia on bike, now i know the chain of events that's going to happen when going up and the route. and yea next time i'll bring my cashcard :p

now i feel the difference between petrol grades... normally i pump singapore's ESSO 5000, but after the VPower at Shell yesterday... whoahhh... its really smoother and really power!

lets do it again! :D

going slow is okay dude, I was going slower than you ;) thing is safety over there and staying alive.

Again again! (jB shouts out with teletubbies tone)

I was eager to open my throttle last night and see how much faster it could be on VPower.

In the end, it really did add up to the feeling of power... maybe also a bit of psychological effect, what they would termed as "confirmation bias" bah.

Sorry Vince, didn't know your bike stalled last night.

I also thought everyone was shooting off straight after the customs and skip the customery cig break.

Hope your bike recovers and is back up ripping the roads soon. :thumb:

I love the responsibility of riding smartly.

I love riding alone on a motorcycle.

I love riding in groups.

I love how motorcycles make me feel the hero I'm not.

come on, you seriously think tat $1 ringgit makes a difference? tell me the truth! :cheeky:

Yes. $0.50 is alot of money! $0.50 can pay for one HUGE bowl of rice! :cheeky:

bro why wan to risk the 7 cents rm extra for every dollar change, i rather have 30 sing in my wallet them 200plus rm in my wallet. if the place is as safe as sg i don mind having so much money in my wallet. Is not that i m an working adult that i don mind the 7cents rm diff, is i don wish to take e risk.

Cheers

maybe you might want to consider my 'method' of carrying RM.. i try to change in SG, then go home and sort out my RM.. i bring not more than what i need, which is 20rm for petrol and another 20 for snacks and ciggs. when i come back i top up that RM wallet.. this way i'm not loaded.. i got currency, but not in the wallet i carry into JB. ;)

hahah have to agree with rich ;) anyway I just did a 50 buck change at Boon lay market. 50 got me 113rm. for anything more than that will get you a rate of 2.295 :thumb:

that's damn good bro!

Replay, working adults does not means that can anyhow spend $$$. I rather not be a working adult as I can live off others.

hey Tanarthur, i apologise if i had generalized the matter and offended you in any way.. what i meant is that i'm still studying, and i do not have the luxury of cash flow. hope this clears up any grey area.. :)

aiyo, this thread from going 2nd link pump petrol till talking about $$$$$.

whats the xchange rate now??? last weekend in JB xchange rate was 2.275

same.. ytd i went in was 2.27.. :(

:sorry: :offtopic:

to all whom have ask about ma bike:

1. Replace front/rear sprocket/chain/chain glide

2. Replace starter relay

3. Re-run some wire circuit

4. Charge battery

5. Some minor tuning

Nothing serious at all.

Since it's the festive season, I guess I have to leave the bike to the mechanic till he got it fix up.

Hmmmm... will I miss this coming Fri ride?

Not sure about it man....

Cheers!
