Got a long whole day trip to Port Dickson at 7am on 26th Saturday, so giving this friday night ride a miss.

I will need the rest and sleep.

Have fun and ride safe.

Slow down abit, smell the air and enjoy the scenery.

EDITED: Found out liao via the A&W thread of all places.

Well, we went in on Fri night and white card is needed.

Again, we went in on Sat morning.

The custom say no need white card. And I thought it's due to we go in on fri night and return on Sat morning and go back in on Sat morning.

Hence no need card. But I ask why, the custom say no need white card for all anymore.

yeah.. passport and ringgit.

Cheers!

I was the missing person and hence the group was held up becoz of me.

I have receive comments/call etc from people whom are not involve in the regular Fri ride and they seems to judge as it was 'me' whom cause this fallen lad after reading the forum.

Be it if I have been mis-judge or not, I don't wish to announce to the world to prove my innocent or how the whole matter was 'really' about. There is one god whom have heard and saw everything during that night and god knows the whole scenario.

Nothing will break my riding spirit and I will continue to do my Fri ride as long as I can mount on a bike.

If you bikers ever come across a MV AGUSTA FT 8830 S. That's me. You know you see a person whom cause a poor lad to lose a life on a Fri ride.

Cheers!

Dear Knights, whatever done cannot be undone. We learned and not blame.

All along Phantom Knights have its own rules & guide lines.

New rides should learn & snr riders should guide.

Riding is at your own risk, be it riding in SG and or MY.

Organizer may want to consider the time and distance for newbie’s. 100-120km for a start is good enough consider their 1st time & their bike's ability.

Try riding in the early evening is also a good call.

Newbie’s should take care of their own mental & physical ability, if you are tired, forgo the ride rather then never ride again.

There are very active snr Knight around & night rides have become a regular night out for PK.

You folks take care & ride safe. :thumb:

Sincerely

Hi all,

Though the recent incident is tragic, i really hope that it will not be a stumbling block for the spirit of the PKs. I may be a new rider and also new in the forum, but I really admire the spirit and camaraderie that is present in this forum.

No one wants bad things to happen to themselves nor the people around them but God is ultimately in control. Pointing fingers is no solution to any problem as everyone has a part to play in cause and effect. Lets learn the lessons that have been taught and move on with respect for those that paid the price.

Yours sincerely

That is not a wack. I have no reason to do that.

Or maybe my post is too sensitive.

First of all, my condolences to the deceased family & friends.

Secondly, with regards to the cause and aftermath of the incident.

I think I should put in a few words, although I was not there that night, but I do ride with some of the riders who were there.

Everytime we go up for petrol or short trips, it's always each rider's responsibility to take care of him/ herself.

Meeting up for petrol trips, does not mean that one rider is bound to follow the pack till the end.

Each rider has a choice, and rights to make any decision.

In this case, then a destination is suggested, and agreed for, riders who express their interest and consent to go along with it, should have think of their own riding limits, and judge for themselves that they will be able to be responsible for themselves for the ride.

Thus, when accidents happened, if blame would be placed on anyone, it does not justify, as it's the rider(s) involved in the accident is solely responsible for his/ her actions, as he/ she is the one riding the bike, and he/ she did made the decision to actually go with the pack for the ride.

Not unless, it's a clear-cut accident that another vehicle hits the rider from the back lah...

Last but not least, if one wants to judge another, do look at oneself first, and ask yourself if you wanna be judged as well?

Ride safe...

Bro bub,

I know you don't have the intention to hurt me as that does not gain you anything. We're all mature people.

But please.... understand the fri night history before comment.

All along we are riding at 60-80KM/H before 312C and head to Ramli burger is my call. You want prove, I can provide. I have lots of other group of bikers whom ask me to join them to elsewhere for ride. but I told them I have my boyz here and I am with them all the way.

My principle is my pride and I will not leave my boyz no mater what.

You want real proof, you ask the regular boyz of how I take care of them and how I concern for their safety.

I need not mention, I sent a few rider home after the ride to make sure they are home safe. I take care of them as how I take care of my own family.

So.. I know i'll be wack by people who read the forum and didn't actually knows about the regular Fri ride.

I may be skinny and weak in look. But deep inside, I am a strong fighter and I can defend all these blows without fighting back.

bro bub.. I am not good at ang mo as you know very well.. but if you want to know the whole fact, I welcome you as a brudder and coffee and share you my side of the story.

Cheers!

Dear fellow knights,

What has done is already done. We must learn to move on. If want to know anything, no need read the forum as you may be mis leaded or whatever so. Fingerpointing is the last we want to see. If we know what will happen, we might as well go buy 4D.

So from now on please stick to the thread! This is the Weekly Friday Night 2nd Link Ride/ Makan Thread not some chatterbox thread.
