That is also one option to opt for. I myself am using race fairing due to track use. But those who do not want to have the race fairing look & ROV issues, or want keep the OEM look, alternatives are available. Always getting stopped or pulled back for inspection for nothing is really a hassle for me. Not to mention the fine. I end up riding less on local roads.

 

There are compromises vs customized solutions in every rider. To each his own.

how exactly did u lost control ? perhaps u can warn us so we can take extra caution..

 

just b4 corner entry i close trottle. clutch in to drop gear suddunly engine stall.. i release clutch engine wont start by then still to fast for the bend..n eventually cozing my hundreds of $..haiz

i think you change back to the original battery right? If its the original bat den it should cost around $170. Other brand and model that can be use for R6 should cost around $90-$120. whats the diff i really don know, any one can help? coz i'm changing my bat soon.

hi, mine 04r6 yuasa, yt9b-bs using for 1 year 9 month, $80. still in good condition. may be u can check the battery price at KS cuz they are yuasa agent. good luck...

Yeah..I shared the same sentiments with u regarding the ROV issues..dats why now my race fairing is of OEM cut. Still using the stock headlight and brakelight.

 

Anyway my previous comment on the Raceshield was made before I made contact with your company..Didn't mean to degrade your product or anything..its juz wat I tot at that time.

 

Raceshield is still an option for me..I will consider again when I got the moolah..

 

Neway, I crashed at the gravel trap on Turn 2 today..luckily had my headlight covered with masking tape..it did its job..

my headlight didn't have any scratches..lucky me!!

btw is it normal to feel the unsmoothness of chain during first gear half clutch or first gear when there is not enough throttle ?

its like u can feel the chain grinding..

 

at high gear no such issue.. so is this normal at 1st gear ?

I clocked 3 secs faster than previous session..

 

I had my front and rear suspension setup myself..and it did wonders man!!!

 

Woohooo!!!

 

But I crashed at Turn 2 gravel trap ley..dammitz..not used to the new steering characteristics and shoot straight into the gravel trap..near the tire wall so I pull my bike down..ouch!!

 

After that..I get myself use to it..and bam!!..3 secs off my previous time and I maintained plus minus 1 sec before Wak Man show me the checkered flag..time to go home!!

lamer.. u mean when u were goin full throttle on the NSH the engine juz cut off on its own ?

 

Yha lahs Wayang , i open den see sumthin funy infront i close a little den when i wan to open again there is no petrol going in as the sensor was not working so was like twisting your throttle with no revs at all. Den i peep at my mirrors and i kept tapping on my brakes to alert my frends at the back in case and turn on my hazard lights as warning. So once i felt was safe den i quickly turn ignition off and on again den clutch in and release den open throttle again to proceed on with my journey.
