r6 2008 engine stalls when clutch in?

 

Everything is fine until i wack the bike, if ride normally, everything is fine, after wack the bike, when slowing down, going to clutch in to drop to gear 2, engine stalls, any1 got this problem?

Could be the battery dying soon. Might also want to check the rectifier to see if its charging.

 

Let the mechs check it out for you.

I have a highest end rear shock from WILBERS for sale.

Asking for 900sgd which orignial price is more then 1800SGD. It has high low compression damping and low speed rebound damping. Condition is near perfect. PM or contact me @ 97348976.

Which year for R6 does this shock fit to? The spring is suited for what rider weight?

Wow sounds serious. Better avoid track until the problem is fixed. By the way, some of us will be going to PG on 8th Oct, first session.

haha, previously i brought my fazer 6 07 model to PG wack until shiok also dun have this problem, dont know whats wrong, my r6 is 100% stock, i just reset the ECU see how maybe i will wack a bit the next few days and see how....

rectifier charging, batt also ok....so dont think is these 2 cause.....

Hi all , I have some issue. I send my 2006 r6 to do an dyno. during the dyno, the engine burst. Con-rod , crane shife and engine casing was broken. bike was well-maintained and everything was nicely done before sending for dyno. The shop asked me to pay for my own loss. WTF? What should i do? It's like unreasonable. please advise.

Maybe can report to CASE?unless they made u sign any indemnity form stating they wont be responsible for any damages to ur bike, i guess no harm enquiring to CASE

Another wow. First time I heard this happen. Just dyno my r6 last month without any issue. Can share which bike shop did this? Pm me if its not convenient

dont know if it still under warranty, reset the ecu yesterday, disconnect the battery after 5 mins connect back.

 

today send gf to work go home that time tried, gear 1 ->2 ->3 clutchless shifting change gear at 14k rpm. close throttle at 200km/hr(gear 3) reduce speed slowly clutch in up my gear to 4 - 5 -6. then brake slow and go down the gear box, before going to gear 1 , i clutch in and blow the throttle past 10k rpm and release gas and to my amazement, the engine never stall. ( i did this previously and i experience my 1st engine stall) 2nd 3rd engine stall is after i wack the bike, going to slow down drop gear, when clutch in engine stall.

 

So far so good. its a gd sign, some things i noted after i reset the ecu. bike is smoother, gear change is clean and smooth as well, and when going slow, small opening of the throttle doesnt result in choppy feeling from the bike. previously(before i reset ecu) when im slow, i feel its really a torture to go slow(cutting thru jammed traffic) now small opening of throttle cutting thru the jam traffic is so smooth and responsive. Im enjoying the ride more now.

 

keep my fingers cross hope it will never stall again....during hard riding

jialet why like that, the workshop shld at least compensate 50% for the damage, cos its done under their hands during their dyno jet session.... half half mah....

What do you mean by resetting ECU? Did you do it through the diagnostic settings on the trip meter? e.g. C1, C2 etc?

reset the ecu yesterday, disconnect the battery after 5 mins connect back - u know like car - reset the ecu,disconnect the battery brings everything back to stock factory settings....

Try talking to the shop one last time,they are supposed to be professionally trained in dynoing which is y we trust them to tune our expensive machines.if they dun wanna take blame, just say that you will be bringing the matter to CASE. You can also make a civil claim against them if u want to, just need to ask the relevant people.cant let these irresponsible shops get away scott free.if they get away with urs, they will repeat to others.sometimes if they play punk we need to do the same.

For starters one is made by honda and the other is made by yamaha.
