but from the rear look of the new fazer ...

how are they going to fix a box at the back .....

Posted

there is'nt much space in the rear under seat to put any thing, and also b'cos of the exhaust under the seat...the pillion seat will also be warm.

the front is more like TDM ..... front brake is also not as good as before.

Brakes work great!~

Induction sound from the airbox quite loud.....sounds very nice..

And if u put a curry puff under the pillion seat, it will still be hot when u get home!~ Yummy yummy!~

The bike feels lighter than the old model...

Generally.....its a good buy.

I'm seriously considering this bike as a replacement to my humble Phantom 200.

Is it agreeable that the general "sporty" look of the bike would be spoilt if a box were installed on it? A friend commented to me, “If you put box ah…will make it look like Ah Pek (old man) bike”.

I’m also considering Honda’s Deauville (650cc) to solve the storage issue.

I'm facing yr same problem deciding in my mind......

The sporty side of me says Fazer, the practical side says Deauville

If only Honda can make the Deauville lighter a bit....then I feel it will be the perfect commuter!

If I get a Fazer6 and wanna put a box I'll rather go for the older 2002 model..... if get the new model then I'll add two panniers instead of top box

Dreaming and dreaming......ahhhhhhh

hmm....yup

I see. Do you have any comments on the support for the EFI engine? Are there any difficulties that you foresee in getting your bike a "full" service?

Thanks for the input.

I dun think servicing it is a problem. But, as in all FI bikes, the electronics are a headache if they do break down. So, all we can do is pray lah. Keeping the electronics cool and dry will help too...i guess...keke..

Thats all for now..
