If i were you, i will wait till after army.

Imagine this, the first 3 months you can only ride after you book out and go home. Parking your class 2 bike there for weeks without touching may also attract some unnecessary attention.

Then what if you go to command sch (e.g. SISPEC, OCS). SISPEC aka "suffer in silence plus extra confinement", 3 months BSLC, 3 months ASLC. OCS is 9 months cadet trainee. How long are you going to park your bike there man...

btw i own a bike during my army days and when i was a trainee at BMTC, SISPEC then signals, 9 months nv really ride much(9 months 400km). It's really wasted to buy a class 2 and park there, pay month installments, road tax, insurance. Even in the units, i'm a stay in personnel so that's even sad. But cos i was then riding a spark so it's ok. Only thing is when you are in the units then booking out is faster.

Do consider again.

agree with you bro... do consider it seriously... i got my 1st bike (SP) when i was in unit...

anyway, i'm from SISPEC la... but not that jialat as you said wad, suffer in silence plus extra confinement... i think now better le la... life is easier than BMTC as long you dun play punk... no confinement lo for me except like 2 times of weekend regimental duties in BSLC... i spent my ASLC in SBAB, it's even better life than BSLC which is in tekong...

I was at Boon Siew 2 days back. The sales person quoated me $16K or $16k plus for just the machine price.

add COE, LTA Tax, Insurance, Road Tax & u can smell like 20K.

For that price, I will very much rather go for Fazer 1000.

Btw, earlier in this forum I thought I read something like up to 6000 rpm, the Fazer 600 feels like S4. Only after 6k rpm will the Fazer feel stronger than S4.

1997 TZR 125 - 1998 FZ 150 - 1999 GSXR 400K - 1999 RX 100 - 2000 LC 125 - 2001 TZR 125 - 2002 CB 400 Ver S - 2006 CBR 929 - 2006 GETZ 1.4 - 2009 STEED 400 - 2016 ???

hmmm? i tot usually machine price includes COE? maybe i'm wrong... :cheeky:

wa liew 20k... u can even buy a much better & higher cc bike le... :sian:

yes, for fazer6, it does have the feeling of a street cruiser when it is in low rpm... relax mode of riding that i love! if u wan power, in gear 1, go up to 6k rpm, then once u change to gear 2, zoom u flies!

Yes the revo price is brutal. Even the Honda Shadow 750cc cruiser cost $21500 just for machine price. FOr that price, for Yamaha, can get the Star series cruiser which is 950cc & 1300cc.

I heard it was because Jap Yen rise a lot. But again, if this was the case, how come Yamaha prices didnt increase by the same %? I think I will go with Yamaha. :)
