i think the parts wise concern is not whether the parts very ex anot...its that its hard to find. personally believe that PGM is a good bike...fast and powerful. :cheer:

well, any bike can be a problematic bike. depends on luck and if the previous owner takes care of it or not. but yeah a 250 most prolly will cost you more money, but i suppose you'll get more fun out of it if you like a stroker ^^

just get what you like man, i still regret not getting a pgm last time. hope you'll find a good one :)

oh, and of course, if you have money to do up the bike nicely, it CAN be problem free for some time.. all bikes same ma.. never take care.. prob come

Let me quote you a few prices...

2T pump which cost $120 will have to be change once every 3-4 years.

CDI if spoilt will set you back at around $950

Speedo itself would cost you around $400

If you so damn suay kena piston jam, one side of the engine will cost you around $1.2k..Do note that pgm is a 90degree v-twin engine..Which means that it has 2 piston and 2 blk..

no wonder its pick up so fast...

anywae it depends on the age or the bikes cum the previous owner also..

If u get FN plate.. confirm ten yrs bike.... wear and tear is for sure. count urself unlucky if u get those problematic wan.

if u have the 250cc bike, dun tell me u wont wack ur bike meh.. impossible lo.......

previously ride my friend's aprilia 250cc cos still waiting for my bike to be transfer... i also wack.. not because its my friend's bike.. partly also better performance.. in term of pick up also faster.....

and if the previous is those so called 'Racer' then say :goodluck: to u first lo...

Some time ppl concept also change, anywae it up to u to decide. 2T bike is fast in pick. Non 2t bike got top end.. no need to worry about ur 2T i. NO OFFENCE juz my preference........

Rs 250 is a good bike but heard from my friend tat it cant reach it real top speed cos rite now in the market if u get Rs 250, mostly are old ones... unless u get 1st hand

Partly because it piston is racing piston. heard form my friend tat every six month need to change, if not it would reach its best performance , tat y he give up is bike...

that's the ex part... clutch. B'cos is a dry clutch so wear and tear is super fast ( if you are those who like to lunch fast or track user) . most of the bike on the road have is very load tin, tin.... sound , if you clutch is in good condition is not loud at all.
