Is PGM4 reali a Problem bike?!?!

PGM, u really need a good mechanic that knows the bike well,

even if the settings are wrong, the bike cant start and cant run,

setting,jetting all this plays big parts with this bike..

Pgm's have alot of different modifications that can be done,

each modification adds afew horsepower to the bike.

if the rider really goes and study the bike well and learn how the modifications are to be done, the bike will definately beat 400cc modded bikes as well..

just my knowledge of 250cc.

well always wanted to get a 250 pgm, got a 600cc instead.

who know, i just might wanna get that dream 2stroke bike.

Hi guyz,

 

I used to ride TZR250, nothing to mod juz do the exhaust n coil, n is all ready fer track. Always wanted a PGM, but was super X in my time, so settle fer a TZ25........love my 25 n use her fer PG, was bullied by a RVF n CBR on 2 different occasions, but since my TZ was moded, I did however let both smell my 2T smoke , maybe their skill sux, or they got bored after a very sharp corner, as that was very long ago, n sg roads now has change a lot. eventually i have to scarpe it, due to high maintance, but is a good 2-stroker fer power n cornering. Never regret getting that bike. Well all that was like abt 10 years ago. Still miss my TZ, luckily still have pix of my TZ to keep in memory. I believe that no bike is problematic, is all on the rider...the human factor, same goes with PGM4....if have a chances would luv to owe a 250 2stroker again.

I chose to believe that PGM is problematic, how not to be problematic when the youngest is of at least 15yrs old. The last production is in 1994 i guess. I also feel that people are heavily influenced by the perception that it is the LEGENDARY bike. Maybe because Andy Lau rode it in his movie. That why alot of of racer wanna still support.

 

Why not consider the RS250, also 2 stroke engine. but then again, Andy lau didnot ride RS250. HAHAHA!!

Firstly, i should say, Yes i own a PGM4 is a nice bike to ride and need a lot of care. I alway believe in; "you take care of the bike it will take care of you", as the bike really take care of me whenever i'm riding on it even travelling at 100++ on a rainny day. Nevertheless, what the bike can do and cannot do. It depend alot on the "setup"

 

Talking about Andy Lau riding on it, i believe he ever ride a "water-wolf" in the movie call "追梦人"right? Then why no body like this bike? or whatever this bike is... I believe there is still afew of this bike in singapore, as i can still see one in a shop last year, maybe it no longer there. Whatever...

 

It not because of whose riding on it before, it just once i see it, ride it, i like it.

just curious,how much would a pgm4 with renewed coe cost?..and do u guys keep any spare bike ?or use yr 250 as a daily transport bike?..well PGM is def a very nice 2 stroker:)

pgm4 wit COE cost ard 5k-6k depends on seller..

 

parts still available in market.. so nt so bad
