Hi pple, I once ask Guan Hoe about such number this is what they said:

Number plate 0000 is not for the road, such number is for "them" (bikeshops) to put on bike that are to be sent to LTA for approval hence, no bike on the road will ever have 0000

then again.....wonder how much they paid for that.....

I went to Motor shop to ask. They say GSR 400 dun know will have or not, so far it is only the 600 model. GSR riding posture seem more like racing bike.

For me I still prefer S4 for the posture and look. Dun think a box on GSR will look nice. :>

2006 Suzuki GSR600

Suzuki announced the naked GSR600 at the Paris Motorcycle Show this week. A modern, powerful 600 featuring a version of the GSX-R powerplant, the GSR600 takes some of the styling cues from the Boost King concept shown at the Tokyo Motor Show several years ago. The sport bike motor has been tuned for broader power and more low-end and mid-range torque.

The GSR600 is fuel injected (utilizing two double-barrel 38mm throttle bodies) and offers extensive instrumentation, including analog tach, LCD digital speedometer, LCD digital gear position indicator, odometer, dual trip meters, fuel gauge and a clock.

I used to own a lao po Suzuki bike, Bombproof engine.. will stick to Suzuki :thumb:

Huh..never heard anything of the GSR400 on the net and now it's coming Singapore in april. I really hope this is true and i think this bike will sell like hot cakes considering the 400cc market is huge and hungry for a new model for so many years le.

lol.... no hard feelings....

anyway read up abt this bike.....

should be better than the S4 - EFI, adjustable front forks and mono rear shocks....

can consider a sports engine in a naked classic and comfortable seat position for rider and pillion.....

should be a hard compeition for the S4 (no offence there)

I will be taking my 2A in a couple of mths and am now looking around for a 2A bike. Too many S4 around. Shadow too heavy. Luckily this bike show up. Sat on the 600cc model at Mah Motor. Fell in love at first sight. Can't wait for it to arrive. Hope the performance is not a let down.

i got the info from here:

http://tokyo2005.suzuki.co.jp/motor/EN/models/gsr400.html

it mention that the GSR 400 haf EFI and a 180/55 rear tire, means its on a 600cc rear tire unlike ordinary 400cc bike.....

so it should be more power (EFI engine) and better handling (fully adjustable fornt forks and mono rear shocks and 180/55 rear) than the S4.

Let's hope that this bike has an export version and is not meant for the Japanese home market only. 400cc motorcycles are capable of much more power.

The S4 we get here is the restricted Japanese home market model - this explains the power rating of 53hp only.

In Japan, the home model CBR1000RR Fireblade is restricted to 94HP while we get 170HP. That is almost half of what we are getting!

My Japanese friend told me that the maximum speed limit for motorcycles in Japan is only 80km/h even though their highway is as developed as the North-South highway!
