the RPM side? if i not wrong, its in a set, so is equals to whole meter gone. $500+ for tat.

if it is just the outside case that is damage , it probably cost you ard $35-$50 .

For tank, can try to go Scrap yard to look for one. Its cheaper. For the meter, depends on which part is damaged. If only the casing, its not ex. If the bracket, its still cheap. Only if the inside piece is damaged, then need to buy whole set. check properly. Go to a more reputable Bike shop. Trust only those. If not, I would guess that you only gotta change the whole set of everything that is damage even if only the exterior is damaged. Unless you know how to see. Anyway, get your fen who knows S4 to take a look for you.

Good luck.

Scrap yard should be open today. 27 Jln Buroh. Boss is Ah Ann. Tel: 96256549.

i didn't know if skidded..can coz holes in the end can..i seriously have no doubts abt the quality of the end can as japanese manufacturers QC damn niow..that's y jap products :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

so i guess u've a very bad skid? hope u're not badly hurt from the skid? i guess u're cornering when u skidded? thank God fer the crash bar or ur entire right leg will be like my friend's..skin's all scrapped off..leavin the virgin skin on those areas that's contacted with the tarmac...

i think the air leak from the end can..if change the sleeve can settle the prob..but that'll coz 300+++..alternatively..if ur end can is stainless steel..maybe can go seng kwang and do spot welding?

what that doesn't kills u, makes u stronger!!

speaking of skiddin..touch wood..if u ever skidded..do u hang on with ur bike or attempt to roll away from it..coz that mini split second decision might safe ur life..not to mention a lot of pain and agony..

coz if a person is to skid in heavy traffic and attempt to roll away from his skiddin bike..he might get run over by oncoming traffic...whereas if he juz go with his bike..the worst he might get is bad abrasions..

but if in light traffic, low speed etc..maybe rollin away from the skiddin bike is a betta option? at most juz a few abrasions here and there?

what that doesn't kills u, makes u stronger!!

I try not to think about whether to hang on to the bike or let go when i skid. Instead i will spend my time learning how not to skid or crash. And such things, sometimes not u want to hold on means u can hold on. The last time i skidded i flew like a superman, and the road kerb went pass like a black and white reel... I had no choice in deciding my trajectory or whether to hold on. Its called an accident for good reasons. I failed to prevent it and it was too fast for me to react. Unless u crash often enough like Rossi.. maybe u can pull off that youtube thing

So when riding, maybe imagining other people's crash trajectories and how possible impact between other cars might swing into your path or others' lane cutting means u need not keep undating a crash plan of holding on or letting go?

P-plate should be an attitude to safety and riding. There's always more to learn.
