my diablo corsa rear already "eaten up" after only 6 months

Diablo corsa '2 compound' is good tire and last bit more longer than normal Bt 14

If you like doing long distant touring, good tire will never last more than 6 mth.

My friend using michelin 2CT for more than 8 mth from Apr or May till today (no track, high speed accel and long distant touring) only work, johore and few time K.L trip. What had wear on the rear tire tread it left another 2-3 month. His next change will still 2CT :thumb:

i believe i was given a pair of old stock of Diablo corsa? cos the price was like from 500 to 420 and down to 380, changed the tyre in june

and i went up touring twice (wif high speed of coz) ard malaysia but no track... i just notice it yesterday....surprisingly the rubber is already strained and showing a bit of thread which is even faster than my previous BT014...

Honda HRC Fast Throttle 1/6 turn 04 - 07 @ $300/- (Stock is 1/4 turn)

 

This are all brand new, got my collegue who went japan to holiday to buy for me.

Sorry to spoil your market.. HRC do not produce high comp gasket for all model of CBR100RR. Stock 04/05 come in at 0.4mm stock 06/07 come with 0.6mm head gasket. Even Cometic high comp gasket is thicker than stock 04/05 gasket by a few hundred of mm. Its best to stick with stock gasket for 04/05 and use Cometic for 06/07.

 

I can help order HRC fast throttle at much cheaper price. Got it directly frm Japan. Asjunior and DeanPedrosa(fellow forumer) can vouch for that. If anybody is interested in getting HRC parts can PM me. I'm doing a service for fellow forumer and I'm not a distributor of this products..

Is BT 021 good?

 

BT 021 is designed as a road biased tyre . Its good if u use it for normal rd riding or long distance travelling . Not good for track use .

 

If u wan long lasting tyre , Pilot Rd very good . Bought my FZ1 in 2006 , until now tyre still not much wear . But i dun trust thg grip of the tyre in corners of rainy days though .

Just came back yesterday from KL. One reason why I love morning rides, when you hit Pagoh and beyond around 7 am - 8 am, you get to ride in the fog. It's like riding through twilight zone.

 

This was how I got my gf from not ever wanting to ride on a bike to loving it. The very 1st time she only agreed to tag along because she was worried for me, but when she experienced riding through the fog the 1st time 4 years ago, she got hooked.

 

I usually have my hazard lights on, then slow down to 70kph and enjoy a slow ride on the left lane.

 

Have spouse issues on riding? Give it a try! Happy New Year all!

I followed a bunch of riders to go to a Sepang trackday back in Apr 06. And they dashed through the morning fog at speeds of 180 to 230.

 

That was a hair raising experience just trying to keep up with them. I won't be doing something like that anymore....

Yup, NO GIMMICK on this Fast.T. When my man blade17 told me bout the f.t cost, it is unbelievable, So I order from him. And on the Hi-comp gasket, what he said is right. I already purchase mine but returned it back due to the blade17 advice and confirmed the stock is much thinner than aftermarket H.Com gasket, if you insist to install one , you need to skim the top block.

Try to divide that speed by 3, you should be able to enjoy it. During the MotoGP trip, we were at that area around 4am plus, the fog was so thick, we couldn't see more than 10m ahead.

Agreed with you on this, but still better than akra pipe when they do it on test 08 race spec. Hope someone out there will do R & D on the exhaust system

that will make 08 much better (least to cover the "so call ugly" front cowling) Let for it to happen.
