it also depends on where the cailiper is placed. If the cailiper is above the swingarm, it is slightly better than the one below. Such example is PB1, Ver S & R etc. for spec i not so sure. even if my rotor is un-even, my braking power is still tops, in fact better. But the pad will go faster. then i change to wave rotor... super power...

Spec 1 is below the swingarm. Pretty true to what you said, I reckon that too.

How time flies...

Big is certainly a warning but small can be downright scary! Never underestimate the effectiveness of small.

No best product in the world lah. Just get the assurance from the mechanic that after changing, there will be more bite. If not don't don't risk changing. Waste time, waste money.

Initially thinking that it could be the stearing cone or wheel ball bearing......change both and is still the same.....and Planet Ah Chong told me the brake disk plate got knock....which causes this......

So have to change both of the front disk plate,,,,,,,so which to check any bro have the same experience ?

there is a force preventing my front wheel to be spinned freely. Changed the right front brake disc as it was uneven. problem is reduced as it was very hard to turn the front wheel before the change. Now it is still not rotating freely. the right front disc is hotter than the left side. when I am on the move, my bike tend to veer to the right.

is it symptoms that i have to service the front brake calipers? brake pump and piston need to change? roughly what is the damage for this servicing?

thanks in advance.

Cd be the caliper pistons, wheel bearing or brake discs. Get your mechanic to check it out.

Usually, front discs are changed in a pair, rite? If not 1 old, 1 new - sure high chance of brake force not distributed evenly.

the taiwan disc are relatively ok.. 4mm thick, having better heat dissipation then OEM.. Price is much cheaper than OEM, so far so good, never heard any problems from anyone using them..

Ver S front discs cant be used on Spec1..

that is correct.

Then monoworld is facing a problem by changing only the right front.

hi i got a problem with my brakes but its a wave just wondering anyone can give their input.

whenever i change to new brakepads for my wave the freeplay of the frt tyre will be severely affected meaning frt tyre will be very difficult to spin using hand like the brake pad is in constant contact with the brake disc lidat.

does this mean the brake caliper o-rings are needed to be changed and serviced?

Brembo Radial 16x18mm are mainly used for single calipers wherelse 19x18 are mainly meant for 4pots caliper that has more feel when braking at corners. 19x20 are mainly used for 6pots caliper. But it also can be used on 4pots caliper for those who likes hard lever brake feel.

cheers
