But den, some ROV are quite nice ppl..Especially ROV 1 last time when i pua wif him on a summon..He gave me a choice to choose one of the offence..$70 for using a wrong no plate BG colour or $30 without mirrors and so i choose the cheaper offence and he really gave me that...

 

Well, if I am ROV 1, I will not give chance next time, if not the rider i gave chance to come and write on this forum and the next thing I know I am ask to leave the task force for being impartial.

 

Do think thr before leaving coments.

anyway if ur bike fully stock, and they wan to find fault with u, (thanks to parents who bear you with a guai lan face) you also can be prepared to suck thumb.

ROV and TP are also just doing their jobs... i dun think they will try to make life difficult for you just becasue they do not like your face...

Yeah they can do their job......and therefore as a result we all are force to keep our cars or bikes stock......Thats the reason Singaporean are limited to the issues of not being creative, sporty and adventurous. We become boring. Life become boring. Transport are for transport only.

I agree that tp & rov are just doing their job as well to enforce rules on road & of cos the hardware in order not have more fatal accidents caused. But if we have the guts to mod our bikes or cars think we should scare lah as ppl always say wan to mod ur bike just mode bravely if not dun mod just my point of view only cheers ....... :)

Hi guys.....just wanna add....what i find that the newly appointed TP officers are very YaYa Papaya.........These officers are very new in the force and they seems not to give any chance...I was stopped before and summon for wearing a slight tinted visor, I plead to him for leniency as my home was only 2km away..But he just say no."Just wait for the letter".. What i think is that they are very eager to summon people without even care to hear their explanation..I even told them what is i m wearing a clear visor but with a tinted Oakley spec will you still summon me? The effect will still be the same rite, haizzzzzzzzzzz......

u shud try appeal. coz if ur visor is not more than 30% tinted i guess it should be fine.. he cant summon u for that.

wah lau papaya....this one....so wat if they TP?can like that handle the case mah......i think they wanna get 'promoted" like catch more promote faster kind....

They r just doing their job.. If u think ur right.. go ahead and appeal.. Singaporeans are like dat.. Do wrong thing and when get caught will always make a lot of noise.. say not flexible..yaya papaya.. u noe its wrong and yet u do it.. so just take it with a smile... :thumb:

Ya they are doing their job... to make sure all road user safe and fine!! dont cause danger to other..

who ask u nth to do go change tinted visor, should put sunglasses..

Recalled years back... I met both of them on the same day... Super "lucky" day, never forget...

 

Caught speeding by TP along PIE/BKE near the speeding camera... $160/6pts

 

Then at traffic light of junction 8 stop by ROV for illegal exhaust pipe, follow him back to Sin Ming Rd, $500...

 

Total damage (donated to singapore road enhancement program) $660 + 6pts...

 

Anyone as lucky as me ??? Can I enrolled in Guiness of Lucky record ?:thumb:

if i am a TP...i wun give chance either..no offence aite..

 

y?? cos i know tat if i give chance to one person..tat person could post on sgbike forum and say tat the tp give chance and ay that the tp very dumb and say tat this type of reason also get..

 

its their job.. u may wear sunglasses but u can remove it at nite..with a slight timted visor..at nite u have to remove the visor which affect the safety factor

- rear plate facing upwards.

- improper placing of p-plate

 

as for the p-plate, the officer let me off as s/he (wont state gender laa) says that my p-plate is visible. but other officers MAY book me for that offence.

 

s/he also adviced me to change my rear plate as it should be facing the front instead of upwards. gave chance because i just rode that bike for 1 week.

 

so in the end, got fined for the tinted visor only.

 

but i sure wont wanna see LTA officer on the road. kena pull back base surely cry ! cry coz pocket sure dry ! huhuhuhu

Brudder yr visor is the light tinted or the the dark one or the very dark one?
