Alamak sial. No need la like that. :) thanks for the offer anyway!

O'Ren : i seriously did laugh indeed. :p hahahaha. Ur maternal instincts rock. :)

Alvinyansg : alright got it. :) i duno whether is pulsar pick up no gd or other ppl really whack their bikes when the red lights turns green. I seem to always lose. Hehehe. :p

pulsar has one of the better low end torque in 2B bikes...

means even in stock condition the pick up should be quite good...

but then why waste the petrol...

just do a normal gradual pick up and enjoy the savings in $$$...

Sometimes like squeeze to the front during red traffic lights. Then when green ah, u in the middle of two cars. If u dun fast abit ah. They seem to tailgate u or somehow dangerous. Sometimes not just wanna whack. Sometimes. Just happens to have a need for speed.

From my experience, taking off at

the light isn't about the speed, it's about the clutch control and gear shifting. Once you feel your gears limits you'll be able to take off super quick. To date no scrambler ha ever beat me when I'm alone on the pulsar and even kup KIA see my rear tire :p

All is in the smoothness ofthe shifting and finding that biting point for the first gear to be ready to release when the light turns green. Yes sometimes I ride on roads with so many lights I have to keep myself entertained !

If you don't optimise your first gear take off, there's no need in whacking, that won't help. It's the take off and the switch to second gear that have to be precise :) it will come with a bit of practice, it's fun you'll see (and safe !)

Any petrol station will do. Some of us have preferences because they own a card that gives them points and rebate. If you go by yourself just pick anyone you like and with time you'll have your preferences too.

I pump 95, but I don't go that often. Maybe others can share more.

I go to the ESSO Ah Gua lane, as thats the nearest Esso that I know from the Woodlands checkpoint. Also Esso is the only bunk that I know, doesn't care which petrol we fill. By right we should fill only RON 98, but then I look left side right side, no cops around, pick up the Red nozzle and shoot shoot shoot until petrol reaches the brim :cheeky:

For me its never about being the first person to dash when light turns green.

For me its about slowing down and stopping at the red light with minimum application of brakes and minimum engine braking, its about closing the throttle at the right distance so that the bike stops at the red light with minimum fuel loss or brake wear :cheeky:

Hey guys, I will be shifting my house from AMK to Pasir Ris, next thursday. Anybody knows cheap movers? There are like 6-7 carton boxes. I dont need any manpower. I can load the luggage myself. Just need the transport. I think a light truck will do. Any suggestions welcome.

A friend of mine used a mover from bedok to hougang for 35 or 40. The number is 9851 7416 and name is David. I saw the guy's truck.. it wont take tall objects.. But David feels.. Can take tall objects if they can sleep..

Thanks buddy, I will contact him. I dont have tall objects. All small small boxes/suitcases. Thank god we get fully furnished houses here, if we had to buy furnitures it would a nightmare considering how often we move houses here.

Did some retail therapy this morning at Tong Aik and LAB.

Got a pair of long gloves to protect my wrist, and two helmet liners. $38.

Also got me a half cap retro helmet with new visor from Tong Aik. $15+$8.

Left my helmet at Tong Aik for them to sell.

Feeling good today :)

Hey guys, how you all doing? Haven't been around for a long time but this is the first place that I thought of when I met with an accident earlier today. Wondering if you guys can help me.

Basically I was turning left and so was the car in front, the car stopped suddenly because it saw some oncoming traffic from the right, which I didn't see. I was looking to the right, and hence didn't see the car in front stopping. Went straight into the car's rear bumper, which is dented now but no scratches. No injuries to my bike, I think I twisted my ankle a bit while trying to prevent my/my bike's fall - didn't feel it then or on my ride back home but beginning to fell it now.

The driver agreed to settle outside insurance at 300$. We took pictures, exchanged information and left. Now when I called him before transferring money, he says maybe need to change bumper so maybe more than 300$. I told him go decide first whether need to change bumper or not, and how much is the cost. And that if cost>300, I want to clear by Insurance, if cost

Eh. Claim insuance sudah.

Dont take the risk to pump 95 now. There are eyes everywhere and you might end up paying more than the difference between 95 and 98.

Hoho just wiped my chain clean and applied soap on my bike. Let the heavy rain do the washing. Time to shower!

Thanks - yeah, I left the fast dripping so people can see how it drips, otherwise the right flow will make a video of 2min with only two drops :cheeky:
