Gilera Vs S4

I find Gilera hard to overtake everytime we start side by side.... Anyone agree? Or ve some other comments?

Agree. Ride a skipper before......think it also accelerate faster when moving off from red light.

 

But at the end of the day not how fast u can travel from 0-100km/h to overtake, but it's about how fast u can stop from 100-0km/h

erm .. gilera is fast in pick up tt's wat i heard .. but tis kind of things hard to compare .. unless u r saying u full throttle n he full throttle .. if nt ver hard to compare .. and aren't smaller vehicle hav better pick up ? like car n bike .. normally bike pick up will win cause is lighter mah .. but den gilera and s4 need to compare the weight of vehicle n rider.. and s4 have more air resistance compare to smaller bike ..

Ya tats true. Rememberd my fren told me a Lancer challenged his R1. He juz speed off n leaving the lancer behind like hot knife cut thru butter:cheeky: Myb its the weight. But stil, a 400cc lose to 200cc...

Runner pickup is one of the best in 2b, of coz it will win against a s4. But during the mid-end range and s4 has engaged vtec, the runner will b left behind. If the runner still beat the S4 with vtec on, i dunno wad to say!

runner is better in dynamics. s4 is naked. smaller wheels can generate a faster pickup but bigger wheels is capable of a faster speed. runner lighter n its auto when S4 is heavier n is geared.

if both is trying to play with each other, no way S4 can lose in pickup however, condition varies.

Ya... partly agree... One of my frenz ride a runner 2... kinda tired 4 me 2 chase him on the back

But, i also own a gilera, VXR 200 to be precise.. & i feel the pickup is faster den my fullsystem spec 3 its auto mah, so light also...

Well most of the time i juz let the runner go.. Cant really bother tat much to catch except for yesterday:cheeky: Trying only. I ve my fren also riding runner. She always take the lead bfore we caught her up.

theres a clip on youtube which i posted sometime back showing a spec3 with yoshi endcan otherwise stock, hitting 0-100km/h in 3.9 sec. i dun think the gilera can do that.

 

but yes the initial pick up of those auto scooters are fast.

they should had done it before or had not experience it yet.

i personally will give it a friendly try with my friend's gilera...knowing that i will win but would like to experience how much effort is needed to win..

S4 need tat 1-2sec to change gear...tat few sec play a big part...haah

s4 stock can do clutchless upshift. its all bout timing.
