Wah FriedFishz, Dragon Lee,

you all so fierce. I remembered the prac 2 also got 1 self prac prior to prac 3, you all also never go. So are you guys saying, the minimum 3 pracs + 1 TP is all you guys took and still pass on the first attempt???? That mean you guys spend less than $150 to get class 2 licence. :giddy:

Or is it you all got do some behind the scences arrangment one. ha ha  As for me not so confident as you all, thought of going 2-3 times, but not sure enough or not :(

I quote the instructor telling us "Don't expect to pass on the first time with no self practice". I like to read things in between the lines sometimes and took it as a hint.

Aiya, i think just go a few times more lah, better spent that extra $30++ than wait 1 more month. My old man is so lucky, his is the 3 in 1 package. I licence rides all.......

Just a thought, if you could ride your harley into the driving circuit to pit your skills against the circuit. I can think of 3 stations the harley would have difficulty(ies).

Station 1 (Figure 8): The Harley may not be able to meet the 11 secs and below

Station 2 (Crank Course): The Harley may have difficulty doing the sharp 90 degrees turn in gear 2 without cluthing in.

Station 3 (Bumpy Course): Don't think can even stand up on the bike. ha ha

Know that it is impossible to ride your own bikes in the test circuit, but just a thought :cheeky:

The bigger bikes which i have ridden before were the Shadow 600 and the CBR 1000 when i was in Pattaya. Tried cornering with the CBR, damnn shiok man. Whoa..... what an experience it was.... would like to share with more leh..... but not enough time, now working hours..... :faint:

In short i went there when the US Navy were doing their R&R. Everywhere was like a test circuit, it was like a crazy town..... choppers.... cruisers.... sportbikes... especially when i rode past, and in between the pubs in the small alley ways.

With the uneven roads and heaps of people keep walking past, it was a challenge playing with your clutch and throttle with an unfamiliar bike. (The pubs just stretch longer and longer) The sound of your bike (music to my ears) would be reflected by the walls due to the way the buildings were built. What an experience....... :thumb:

Too bad Singapore don't have this type of pubs and roads and most importantly, atmosphere....... Think have to go back there one day and relive the experience man. :thumb:

Got to find out when those US Navy people going for their R&R again....

Really regret not taking my class 2 back then. Would have been more "on form". Now somehow lost touch a little and don't have as much time to spare compared as when was a student years back. :bounce:

I took close to a month to clear all the 3 pracs, but waiting time is 2 months for the TP. Thats why i brought up the issue of how many self prac is "enough". Touch wood if i fail, have to wait another 1 to 2 months :faint:

Then the rumble will not begin in Jul - Aug. ha ha :(

the licence is already there for you, it's just when it will be issued to you, .There is nothing that can be done about the test date but when it does arrives, take the test and show the testers how confident you are on a class 2. :thumb: good luck!! you need them

I believe there's also alot of people like me, after getting the class 3, gave up on riding bike, so now not very steady on a bike. But thanks to the Harley riders who stay at the East area which keep galloping past my house, have "revived" me and one of them should be Dragon Lee. Ha ha. :bounce:
