I tried out the Iphone 3G which my fren juz got . Basically , its juz an improved iphone . Not realli living up to all the hype though . But i do concur tat the phone is sleek n beautiful esp in white .

 

Maybe get one when the rest of the telcos launch theirs .

It can use M1 sim card try already no problem!

 

Use itunes to convert any audio CD into digital media.

 

Itunes automatically arrange name all the songs!!! Great!!!

Under Singapore's telecom law, all phone are not allowed to be sold locked. This is to prevent monopoly of phone by any telcom company.

Guys, is there anyway to disable the data transmission?

 

Short of turning on Flight mode, every mistaken click on ads or loading of certain games/programs will result in some data transfer. Not very fun on a plan with no data allocation!

1st, go to settings, general, make sure u disable the location services.

 

2nd, and im using bossPrefs control panel, to manually disable 'edge'.

(can use SBsettings also. these 2 avail for download in Cydia).

 

for the 2nd option, u need to jailbreak ur phone

The iPhone is a perfect oxymoron. Such a user friendly phone, yet so frustrating in many ways.

without jailbreaking, iphone's kinda crap. for those who did jailbreak, we know the difference. Apple set limits to its phone, and jailbreaking took off its boundaries, like what its name implies.

 

just my oppinion. feel free to comment.
