Stock parts, V Power, Castrol TTS, NGK racing plug.

my frend claimed 200km on krr, only thing he did was change to denso spark plug, take out sponge in airbox, use V power and esso gold fully syth 2t and his weight of less than 70 kg. just providing info

b4 tong pipe is 200* reach very slow

only do is take out sponge from air box,and PDK valve cover,ndk racing plug,moile racing 4t and 2t

 

top speed is 190* after tong pipe

hey, what's the max RPM u can drag for gear two? i only tried until 6k RPM, then i change liao, go until 6 like damn rough already.

 

 

never drag gear 2 before.. but when i first got my krr, i ever drag my third gear to 80km/hr (never check the rpm though, coz that time still new and only care abt speed).. think i was really stupid to torture my engine like that.. lucky it still haven't fail me after 8 mths

 

anybody knows how to make the exhaust less noisy and emits less smoke.. everytime i start my bike, ma chiam like throw smoke bomb to create smoke screen

JUST CHANGE UR REAR SPOCKET TO A LARGER ONE BUT REMBER U WILL LOSE SOME OF UR TOP END SPEED

and one more thing guys, must keep sanding yr "muffer"(whichever way u spell it). It rusts all the time, see rust already must sand it and spray with High temp black spray hor!

that one is a common problem faced by all KRR riders. no way u can prevent it. You can only sand the rusty parts and spray over high temp spray to make it look black.

hey guys... riding kips now...

regarding the rpm topic u guys were discussing... for rpm i usually open till 6 or 7 then i change gear... from what i learnt from my mechanic... for our category of bikes which is sports bikes... this is the way to ride... then it will be smooth...

and as for whether its a torture to the bike by doing that, i dun think so... itz a sports bike... it's suppose to be running in high revs... hehe... just my own opinion...

 

btw my bike is stock condition too...

maybe i suaku or wat, cos never ride any bike other than bbdc's CB125 before ... find the kips really a fun bike wor ... go slow slow also wont wobble one ... if only i had this bike when i did my narrow plank in circuit

what i do is... i use sandpaper to sand the belly. after that then spray the high temp spray. It will last for about 2 to 4 weeks after which rust will form bit by bit again.

hi,i a kr owner 2. if yr is a stock bike try nt 2 ram it rpm 2 high,for me when i do it the engine like very stress n for the white smoke that u just start yr bike is like that 1,once it warm up already the smoke will b lesser already
