Hi guys...me riding a kips too...just wanna confirm with u guys...my bike gives out very little smoke....sometimes too little...make me scared...the 2t also eat very little....my quest is.....do any of u guys use premix for ur 2t? that is putting 2t in the petrol tank...any side effects? i'm thinking of putting a little bit first...see how much smoke there is

i'm using premix,use abt 1 year already,quite gd to me.the premix u mean is still gt 2t pump anot?

When warmed up properly, the bike shouldn't produce any white smoke at all.

Understand that you are worried about the 2T, but seeing white smoke doesn't mean it's a good thing.

 

My average 2T consumption is 1 bottle of Castrol R2 a month. Roughly you can gauge from it. How long have you been riding your bike ? New riders tend to freak out over things.

If I'm not wrong, premix is the bottle type you buy to top up your 2T reservoir.

Think the 2T has a certain miture ratio.

Put too much you will get a lot of white smoke, and LTA won't like that.

Its NEA that's in charge of catching bikes emitting too much white smoke now...

Nothing to worry about. When yr bike is warmed up, it doesn't emit white smoke anymore. Don't have to pour any extras into yr petrol tank

cos he transfer his kips to his brother then wanna have a aprilla.... next tuesday get bike .... i went down with him that day then he say aprilla cornering better....

using premix will add more power to your bike but its quite troublesome. for example, for every 10 litres of petrol, you have to add 250ml of 2T. you have to get the exact measurements from a mechanic. too much 2T will choke your carb. some of my friends carry cough syrup bottles filled with 2T every time they refuel. Motul or Penzoil Marine are some of the 2Ts that is recommended to premix usage..

 

if you want to change to premix, you will have to uninstall your 2T pump first.. any shop can do that for you and yes, using premix will give out more smoke.. hope that helps..
