i got this problem b4 too, but then i try to 'play'(tighten/lossen) with the clutch lever screw(watsoever its call la). I found tat actually even if i press the clutch fully in, it is still not yet consider fully(internally). Thus when u go gear 1 with no power(turning of throtter), it die.

So conclusion is same like bicycle loh, turn the so call 'screw' out/in(for mi is out) abit and try again.U will find the clutch pressing harden.

Well, tat is my experience. Wonder if it go the same as yours or not.

No harm trying...(beware of vehicle at the back or front wo).

Sorry guys, really like to join u guys and see how it goes. But I dun really like the idea of going JB at tis time. If you guys change the the mood and just touring Spore(i know its boring for some pple or... all. Lol ), I definately on u guys.

yesh.... this is wat i mean, even if u got fully clutch in however, if ur free play adjust till too much even if u fully clutch in its like u neber fully clutch in lidat

Hi,

Is tis brand good-Castrol Chain Wax?

I bought and try. Well, not much satisfication as awhile later it leave the chain with yellowish wax and looks ugly(chain becm yellowish-like kanna sh*t/mud). Farmore, it seem harder and leave like a coating on the chain. Have to clean it, reuse after three four days...

Anyway, it is wax loh so cant expect it much. Well, just a feel back.

Any better recommendation(price and where to buy pls)?

 

And so how bro or sis out there? Regarding the outing? Really going to JB on Labour day? Y not we just go tiuring Spore, e.g from one side to d other side of riverside? East coast to west coast..lol.. Just a joke and suggestion..

I think there is, at the side(on the right i think) but u must screw out the side body out. Think it is just next to engine oil, but u cant see it normally(i mean the normally way of opening the seat. But if i wrong pls dun flame me wo. I just cant remember if thats the one.

Hvent change mine yet. I did ask b4 twice with the mechanical guy(diff shop) whether a need to change but both say dun need. Think one shop guy mentioned that the 4T will play a part to the brake fluid(cant really get wat they meant) if it is low. As well as coolent, till today, all shop tat i visit say dun need to change or top-up unless the temperature meter is high. There is one time my bike fall to one side and some water leak out(think is coolent) but still the shop say dun need.

Well, got $$ dun want to earn(they can just bluff me and change it, charge me $$), so i think they are telling the truth loh.

But to play safe, pls wait for other reply or ask ard.

Brand to use, price, where to buy etc etc...

Either ignore(leave as it is unless the crack part flying while u ride) it or use special glue(unaware of any). But the best is of course if u have enough $$, just go and change the side. I believe it do come with 1 side only. I have been ard some shop near balestier rd(address is 207 Lavender st.). Think most the shop there are quite good(price and service).

I also got a crack(a small piece of the end fall off) on the side(near edge of the screw), but i just leave it. Anyway, the screw is holding it. Haha just have to becareful when there a need to unscrew, and just screw it back with the part.

The brake fluid reservoir for the rear brakes is located on the right hand side near the tail board. To see the reservoir, go to the right hand side of your bike and squat down facing the exhaust can. Look for the mono rear shock, when you have found it, look around the area, and you should see a plastic cup with black cap. That is the rear reservoir.

 

Brake fluid and 4T are not related. 4T is oil used to lube your engine gears. Brake fluid is used to actuate the brake pistons so that they push on the brake pads onto the brake disc producing friction which ultimately stops your bike.

 

On the brake fluid reservoir, there is a max and min level marking. Maintin the fluid level between this marking. If the fluid is lower than the min mark, you will need to top up the fluid.

 

It is recommended to change the brake fluid periodically. Brak fluids hydroscopic. This means they tend to absorb moisture. When they do, they become useless; the heat generated during braking will heat up the moisture which will become gas. You get bubbles in the brake fluid. This makes your brake system less effective. Change once every one or 2 years should be fine.

 

When you buy brake fluid, take note there is a DOT rating. KRR can use DOT 3 or 4. Do not use other DOT numbers.
