i dun think that steering cone very expensive ...it depends on which brand u wanna use ...got original one and cheong one too ....

if u stay in the west i can recommd u one shop ...reasonable price ..good customer service

where is it located sia?

I asked one shop. Quote me $1xxplus for steering cone and the ...metal log(two pole at the front wheel joining the suspension). One of the left pole got oil dripping, always got oil on the metal.

Mi so unlucky sia, bought my kips not even half a year, already spent lots of $$ on repair service:

Rpm metal once

Speedometer twice

Chain & Spocket once

4T oil kanna water in it once.

Now these again.....

Wonder wat next to come... End of the year go take class 2A and then change a better one.

I believe you're talking about your fork stanchions. The leak is coming from a broken fork oil seal. My advice better get this replaced as soon as possible as this compromises bike handling, hence also safety. For many reasons, it's better to get both fork seals replaced at the same time.

Keep happy.... the KIPS 150 is a decent ride and once you have gotten the problems sorted, it does keep itself intact for a long time (Given regular maintainance).

Your forks need not necessarily replaced if they are not bent. Just a fork oil seal replacement will do.

Besides factoring in instalment & petrol costs, it is wise to factor in a little extra for unseen maintainance as well. This is part & parcel of vehicle ownership. Planning otherwise will result in disastrous results.

oki thks. But the shop i went told me that i need to replace the fork and will be better to replace the two. But the fork look oki to mi.

Now i am curious liao.. the balancing(turning) seem to better liao and the oil seem to get lesser or no more. Think i see how it goes first before changing.

Who know God pity mi and heal it... haha

Anyway, the fork oil seal changing cost is??

if there is really a need to replace the fork

tink hafta replace both forks together due to the balancing

imagine one side the fork more stiff one side more soft

when u corner..then datz it

and lesser oil on fork liaoz?? could be cause inside no more oil liao izit?? :cheeky:

front for krr is from 190-210 rear is from 200-240 adjust accordingly to suit your riding style

as for the newer electronic air pumps i believe there is a chart for your reference as well a button to press which converts into psi :cheeky:

good luck and safe riding :cheeky:
