excessive white smoke could also be due to the 2T you are using. try changing to motul after your 2T runs low. castrol R2 seems to give a lot of white smoke according to other people. seems that they like motul 600 (available at HKL) but it's rather expensive. or you can buy motul 510 from JB.

juz some strange observation frm using R2 on my prev bike

when the level of 2T in the reservoir is very high (juz top up) the amt of smoke is more

after the 2T used up some liao then the smoke will decrease already

anyone can offer any logical explaination for thaT??

Motul is good only if u pre mix it ...if not it is just a waste of money !!!

R2 for me still ok ...unless u on your 2t too much or u add to your tank !!!

if not can try esso gold 2t ...not bad and can last quite long !!

icic..my prob resolved..stupid motordiam where i bought my bike..nv change engine oil,nv tune d 2t properly etc...wa lao..sian man...

 

in d end i myself went to another mechanic to change everyting..bo bian pay myself 4 d servicing loh...altho still got guarantee at d motordiam but i doubt dey will do my bike sui sui for me...dun trust dem haha

 

aniway thx guys...so d conclusion,is R2 or esso gold beta?

yoz new rider here, any idea if it is normal for the bike rpm to go to 7.5 at gear 6, speed almost hitting 130km/h? if i rev until abv 10 rpm will the bike spoil?

and i realise the speedo like not very accurate. when doing 100km/h, i feel like i am travelling at maybe 90km/h only. heard 2b bike speedo gives a higher reading than the actual, any confirmation abt this?

if yr bike is stock,better nt whack till redzone.it will stress yr engine

yah so an advice to all L-platers whu r gona buy a bike upon passing...pls check carefully b4 signing..n wateva terms u wana haf like gettin wateva feebies..oso do it b4 u sign..mine was a total f***up situation...

 

when i qns dem abt d engine oil dey oso insist dey changed but my mechanic from elsewhere told me v.long nv change liao....so u noe wat i mean..dey can deny everyting once u signed n bought d bike from dem!

KRR has 11.5 litres. depending on what fuel u go for, just multiple it by 11.5 and u know how much its per tank lor.

Sorie ppl..kinda off topic...but i have this problem...just trying to find some answer from u guys....rpm and speedo cable recently change but snap! Nevermind thinking that JB cheap stuff cant last long...change at singapore....SNAP AGAIN....any reason for this problems....
