Hi all, mi newbie to this site. Juz bought a kips and haf problem liao....

Whenever i try to rev the bike pass 7k rpm, i will feel a loss of power. The feeling is like when u rev a vehicle to its redline and there is a power cut. Dunno why like tat leh. And oso my bike got a squeking sound whenever i m riding. So farnie, feel like a clown.....

Can anybody help?

normally valve opens at 7.5

maybe there's something wrong with ya valve ???

 

squeeking sound is when braking or normal riding ???

eh squeaky sound? check ur brake pads.. is there clearance between the brake pads and the discs? are the pads worn out already? or are your brake discs deformed?

i change around 5K....

felt that my bike like no power after changing it.,

hi GUYS ..would like to check wat kind of steel braided hose is recommended for kips??? cos HEL is like very ex...think kips need 2 lines ..HOW abt JB (MALAYSIA)??? is it cheaper for other brands??? can get at ah kua lane there or not?? heard got one u juz tell them racing hose ah???wats tat and how much??

hi there although hel is expensive but dont you think $150 is small price to pay against your safety similar to the ff helmet :smile:

 

personally using hel myself can really feel the difference especially the rear brakes when using oem ( the rubber hose ) very spongy, strong solid after with hel :thumb:

 

steel braided hose which is chiong one not 100% stainless steel and imagine you e-brake the hose leaks or breaks which results in more money spend on hospital bills and repairs ( choy choy choy )

 

just my 5 cents though
