not only the max issue , its also abt overall horsepower.. cos firstly tyre too heavy, secondly, the tyre size too big so the area of contact is bigger ,therefore there is resistant to pull more compared to 110/70

 

if i am not wrong our original factory size is

front 90/90

rear 110/80

 

but its mean for jb uncle travelling, not for playing..

so people test and test and found out kr rear 90/80 and front 110/70 can be very suitable for most player.. some like rear 100/80 some like 120/80 but all imo are only good in certain way.. 110/70 imo quite stable when highspeed,can can corner till lick floor , all also no problem..

is super kips = kr / krr?

i would like to take this opportunity to send my sincerest condolences to a mechanic's family, a malaysian mechanic who is my friend by the name of ah hao, formerly worked at kok seng, agl. Who has just passed away in an accident. Last worked in Shifu's shop opp agl. i believe some of us do know him. I just met up with him a few weeks back after some time.

Hi, i got this problem,

 

is like, whenever i leave my bike for like more then 6 hours. it tends to "overflow" if thats what its called. but if i leave my bike there for a while, i kick once start alr.

 

then everytime. i must kick start with off engine alot of times. then on my bike then can start.

 

issit normal for a kr 150?

 

if its not normal, what r the things i can do so i can start my bike str8 away after i kick?

 

bro, define overflow? Overflow means that your fuel "tap" is on.. and you can see fuel leaking out...

think your carb got problem.. it sound like a like a overflow problem.. you have to but the fuel seal in the carb.. fix it and no more overflow..

For stock sports rim, not possible cos the hub don't fit those flower type disc brake. Unless spookes rim and 125z hub(example) can fit those kind, that's what i like about 125z hub cos i love over-sized flower disc brake.

 

It's not called overflow. Pros, correct me if i'm wrong. It's normal, prolly due to cold engine, and it's ok to kick start many times before bike starts up.

 

Ever had this problem, mech told me setting issues. 'Fuel dries up in carb causing bike unable to startup cos not enough fuel to start' thus the reason why you pull choke to start. (which is to allow more fuel to burn to start thus the high idling)

 

Get your trusted mech to check it out i would say.

 

yup yup.. cold engine that's left overnight will need choke.. if you on choke and still cannot start.. CONFIRM overflow.. haha.. Cause choke will plump more fuel and air to let your bike start.. =)

 

If on choke cannot start within after 10min of kicking.. off choke and keep on kicking non stop.. =)

Yes it's easy to maintain.

 

Just make sure your 2T is sufficient every time you travel. Do servicing every 3000km or 3 months which ever comes first.. (Change EO/ spark plug).

 

PS : ~3000km, depends on individual i would say.

its reallly easy and cheap, like what blue mention earlier.. as long u do basic mantain on the bike, it won give you too much problem..

Having some problems and would appreciate some helps from fellow Kr riders.

 

When i was riding last night. Sudden feel of bike lacking power (Similar to Lack of petrol)

 

Went to the bikeshop today, they told me that my valve cannot close fully.

and my carb o-ring is leaking.

 

they told me that if i wanna fix, i need to do a top overhaul.

Which costing a bomb

 

I told them that can i just service my valve and change the carb o-ring.

and they sae 'no'.

 

but saying a top service/overhaul will retrify the problem.

which this part makes me blur as why cant i jus service the valve alone?

 

any pros out there can help? and maybe can recommend me a shop and advise on the pricing in singapore?

Which shop do you go bro? Fcuk it. He just wanna chop your money man. Top overhaul consists of changing piston, piston ring, bearing, gasket, coolant,engine oil , plug, SERVICE VALVE, and etc. And ur problem is ur valve couldnt close properly. You dont have to go through top overhaul to solve e problem. Its your valve problem. And ur carb can take out without overhaul mah. The mechanic nonsense liao.

stupid shop, pm me the shop name and address, i go say my valve jam then see what he say..

yap, must let us know so that we can stop new rider from doing there.

 

the o-ring in the carb is hidden.. there is a fuel stopper in the carb which look like a mini pen. holding this pen is a (gold colour)metal round casing.. inside the round casing is the (o-ring). u have to open it with a screwdriver and pull out the casing.. the rubber cost less than $20 max..

hi fellow kr riders. lately when i start my bike in the morning, there is alot of white smoke. and even when i have warm up my bike still got alot of white smoke. the white smoke increases more when i open my throttle.

 

i try to ram my bike in the expressway hoping to clear the white smoke and when i exit at my destination, the white smoke is no longer there. is there anything wrong with my bike? cuz i am due to inspection of my bike by the end of next month and also i am scared that i might get summon from TP/LTA for the white smoke.

 

check at bike shop.. planet recommended.. too many possible reasons..
