Jay- Both Maxxis and Battlax tires are good. What u need to look out for is either Wet or Dry compound tires. Seriously, $140 is reasonable and if u can get $120 is almost a miracle. Good things cost money.

if you're in neutral.. your 2t light will always be on. once you change gear it will off

Hi all, can anyone tell me is it worth to get a 1 set chain n sprocket -> $120++?? No idea what brand . is there a need for such exp set. Or just get a moderate set? thanks!

 

I have used...I mean overused a cheap set before. $60 for chain and sprockets. I had to tighten my chain every month...then it became 3 weeks....down to 2 weeks. I wanted to see just how long it will last and how far I could push it. Managed to get 13 months out of it. One day when I was joyriding with some friends at Old Upper Thomson Road, the chain gave up and dropped out on a righty corner. I was lucky that it wasn't a left corner or the chain will drop and get stuck on the swingarm and sure buang. I am now using a DID O-ring instead....got a slightly better budget mah haha. Make your own decisions

 

On a sidenote, my friend riding SP changed to a GPR X-ring set at Bikeworks- Kaki Bukit a few days ago for 100 bucks...reasonable price I think.

i just bought a new KRR.. it's treating me v well... problem is...

 

1) sometimes when i want to lock my bike at my carpark.. the key doesn't seem to work. it's almost like it has it's moods so on certain days i can't lock my steering..(no matter how i adjust my steering etc.. the key just can't lock) what could be the reason behind this?

 

2) likewise for my N gear... when i want to park my bike.. it also has its moods.. sometimes when the engine is on i can kick it to neutral bfore turning off the engine but sometimes the gear is just stuck and won't go to neutral unless i turn off the engine.. it smoothly goes to N gear... any reason why?

1)If its moody....maybe u are just doing it wrongly. Otherwise get it checked.

 

2) I think many krr is also like that. I normally kick to neutral while the bike is still motion and then stop. Try it...eventually will become second nature. Or if u stop already...just move the bike forward abit while kicking to Neutral at the same time.
