By the way, I'm a 3 to 4 years krr rider. But I'm a newbie in maintainence =x

I scrapped my first KRR and bought another one =)

A quick question! The previous owner only pump 98, and he did so for a year. My previous KRR only runs on 95. Shall I continue his "tradition"? or I can change to 95. The bike I'm using is almost 10 years old already.

Hi bros and sis,

just wanna ask anyone of you here have any problem with inspection with the stomach being cut a little inside?

I'm having this problem recently, didn't have this problem for the past few years doing the inspection until recently  . As the bike is currently without insurance and road tax, the lay up period already met the maximum so can't do anymore so it's quite urgent. Any advise?

When I bought it, it's already like this... I read from the earlier post, this is a common problem for KR.

But I was hoping that there's a fix..

Normally it will have diff around 10 km/h if u compare with car speedometer.

hi guys i just took over a kr. experiencing power drop everytime i change gear couldnt maintain speed.

unless i drag every gear to 7rpm the speed will then maintain. went to several bike shop and ask in jb. some tell me block problem. some tell me air filter. any ideas which is which?

Can describe your problem more detail?

What do you mean by could not maintain speed?

If below 7k rpm feel no power, check your carb for pilot jet. What is the size?

the speed will drop alot if i don rev above 7rpm to change gear.

Check your carb. See the size of your pilot jet and main jet. See also your needle, where is the clip position?

Any knocking sound from your block? Noisy sound? Bike produce a lot of smoke?

Must check the valve also, if broken also can cause this issue.

smoke have abit when start. bike shops telling me 3 problems air filter as i have none previous owner removed. block was also one of the reason said by bike shop and lastly is gear plates.

Talking about smoke. Any idea how to minimize the smoke output? When I first took over, it almost has zero smoke output, but now it's getting more and more smokey.

Fix your carb first, restore back air filter.

No hurry change block or piston.

Gear plate? Did u mean clutch? U try to pull clutch, shift gear to 1st position. Rev little bit, see whether your bike will move. If clutch still good, it will not move. If it move, then its time for you to change.
