Seriously the NOW card SxxKs. Ytd went to activate the card then to shell and use. First the cashier rejected me when i want to use that card saying its troublesom as the system of UOB always down at night then straight i question him about then how i get the discount if i use other card. He got no choice then try using my NOW card after 3 attemps, he got thru the system but still only 5% as another 5% i got to settle with the bank =/

to me all the banks are the same. no harm u can get a few cards. if not comfortable, u can just terminate.

Must also look at the promotions the CC offers also. Cos if you notice some CC offer very good promotions when you use their cards.

IMO UOB n HSBC gt the most promotions ...

if u pump in sg, Citibank Dividends offer u 5% rebate for all the petrol kiosk islandwide ...

depends on what you value.

 

do you want discounts, points, privileges, recognition, global acceptance etc...

 

different cards offer different things.

 

in the end 2 or 3 is really all that you need.

 

I hold only 3 cards, one corporate, one local use and one overseas use.

simplicity and reliability is my preference.

i think best is HSBC and uob..

i using HSBC and find that there are loads of discounts around SG for the card. So if you calculate it quite worth it also. But best is try not to touch the credit card. Use cash is really the best idea. I use more debit card then credit card.
