"Tong" pipe Or Stock pipe??

Hello to all brothers of SBF,

 

would like to know what is the advantage and disvantage of a "tong" pipe compared to a stock pipe and vice versa...

 

i.e. fuel comsumption, power, noise, inspection..etc...

 

how to make the sound of a stock pipe become more bassier? From what i know, "tong" pipe will produce the 'snoring' sound like a ferrari if high-rev...

 

Is it possible to make it sound something like WRX or EVO..etc...?

WRX,EVO sound me not sure..

 

but i seen people tong thier stock end up bike sound like bangla pick up truck.

Make the sound like WRX?..Impossible..coz WRX engine layout is opposing piston(boxer) unless your riding a bmw tourer with the same engine layout. Back to topic,if you want good sound why not get aftermarket pipe?.

Sengkwang custom vs ss headers.Both i think is 4-1 minus the cat,but ss more better.Wont rust like the stock ones. If i'm not wrong read from the ss headers MO thread,that the angle for the endcan mount is abit off for stock endcans but for aftermarket ones should'nt be a problem. MW still bring in the SS headers?. Sick and tired of derusting and spraying my stock headers.

errr... perhaps "tong" pipe is the cheapest means to get ur bike sound loud?? hahaa.....

 

but comparing so many types of aftermarket pipes, i.e. yoshi, micron, GPR..etc.. which pipe really produce a bassy sound which is near to WRX/EVO?

Go legal bro, with the summon you get for modifying your can might as well buy a legal one. Some more some legal cans give you better performance.

GPR endcan will do the trick but to have a high-rev bike exhaust note to sound like turbo charged cars is not possible. The engine revs are different from bikes.

And don't mod ur orig endcan lor... :cheeky:

How time flies...

 

Big is certainly a warning but small can be downright scary! Never underestimate the effectiveness of small.
