LTA Vehicle Inspection

Lets say my rxz the smoke like smoke grenade when i pump, really like smoke grenade not exxagerate. Mechanic tell me that my rxz old liao is common will cost $200-$300 to fix not worth it? Will inspection pass my bike and give chance cuz its a old bike?

 

inspectors used to be super fussy abt white smoke from 2stroke bikes. little bit also cannot. not too sure abt the standards now. but frm the way u describe, seems like the smoke issue is pretty bad on yr ride.

 

as a long term solution, recommend get it fixed. alternatively, get motorshop to send yr bike for inspection on yr behalf (need to pay them for towing charges etc).

 

getting the problem fixed may also help u avoid smoke emission fines that NEA officers dish out when they spot vehicles emitting visible smoke while travelling on the road.

I had a quite bad experience for my first pipe on my first bike, bought a Gilera Runner aftermarket Leo Vince SBK pipe from a bike shop name F***** S*********

 

They offer a lower price then SunRise, they told me that i can go to G-Max (Main Distributor) to get all the approval documents after I install the pipe, but eventually I realised that when i am got this lower price pipe, just like getting a STREET ILLEGAL racing pipe.

 

I came to realise that once you get a brand new pipe, it will include a "Booklet". But eventually, they did not provide me it and due to this, G-Max do not give me the approval documents.

 

This is just a gentle reminder to new fella riders like me, do not get into this kind of situation like this. Time is money, money is time, they not only wasted my time, but they refund only certain amount to me only.

somehow for 2b 2stroke bike, tong stomach w/ stock end-can should be able to pass.

i saw off the "ball end" part if my clucth n brake lever..coz i see not nice...

 

after i saw..i smoothen the edge..make it blund

 

my mechanic says this is illegal..if kena spot check..kena summon

 

ask u all bikers..does anyone have the same case as me n pass inspection?

oh no...... all my signal lites are led. Tot led are brighter, thus safer as other road user can see u better ??? Tot of jaz ride in, act blur and try.

what an interesting mod....i guess if the function of the levers are not very much affected...should be ok.

but road tax can be renewed either 2 x 6mths or 1 x 12mths.

 

could the upcoming road tax renewal for u be for the second 6mth renewal? if yes, then there is no need to go for inspection (since u went for it 6mths ago) until the next road tax renewal (in another 6mths later).
