Grounding and eo change wit ah pek yest!!! Damn bloody shiok!! And damn addictive!! Didnt even know vtec was activated!!

 

Loads of vibration cancelled out and make the bike a very very smooth ride!!!

hi all bros here, any1 hv this typr of prob b4?

tats my spec 3 occasionally will don hv the headlights on, when i started the bike, evrything is ok but w/o hl on, low beam x, hi beam oso x.

but pressed the pass, hv light. then it's on back aft i turn off the key awhile and turn the key on again. will it be some connector loose?? inside the headlight? tat's what i can suspect.

My vtec3 breather tube got oil inside. Whatz the prob? der should'nt be any oil inside right?

 

Wrong...that's not the breather tube..its your breather drain tube if you are referring to the one shorty sticking out below your air box. The excess eo is actually your eo vapour grease draining from there. If you have too much eo, there will be even more.:sian: In short..its normal.

Could be your switch assembly (open up and spray some WD40...or liek you said, wiring inside ur headlamp housing unit.:sian:

use multimeter tap connectivity check between headlight connector and left assembly switch to check whether any wire breakage..

if ok, check voltage at each headlight housing and left switch assembly when u on ur battery..

if ok, change a new bulb to try..

 

ah pek method is good, try it..

sounds quite loud when idling ..it's like whistling ...but once engine stops, it stops ...u encountered this before ?:help:

 

 

Hey, i've been experiencing the same problem with u for months. But recently, my s4 died on me while i was at AYE. While riding, the bike gave a very weird and loud sound (sounds like a ducati haha) before it actually died on me. :(

Guys, I'm not a regular of this forum, but I hope someone can help a distressed me. I need some help. I just skidded my s4 due to powdery gravel on the ground, suffered injuries, I can only say I'm lucky to be alive.

 

My bike was damaged exteriorly, this includes:-

- Gear Lever (bent)

- Clutch Lever (Scratched)

- Engine Casing (the place where a lot of people put crash bars)

- Speedometer (black casing cracked)

- Headlight (scratched)

- Handlebar (side damaged but i can live with it)

 

Can I know from the bros and all the riders here where to replace genuine stock parts for them other than boon siew?

 

And if any bros here and tell me roughly how it would cost, that would the best.

anyone knows what wrong when the temperature lamp light 'ON' while riding?

there are drops of engine ice coolant on the ground when i park at carpark...

i check my coolant tank and there's still coolant inside..

 

anyone had this problem before? thanks alot

Yo bro, i had this problem few months back, with drops of coolant leaking from my s4 after riding. Thought there's a small crack in the coolant tank but went shop to serviced and it turned out to be some worn out coolant hoses that caused the leak. :)

did ur temperature lamp light 'on'?? i had changed new set of coolant hoses 3mths ago. which shop u went serviced?

Overheating...could be faulty radiator fan switch or a faulty thermostat or clogged radiator. Coolant leak is due to reserve tank boiling and overflow thru its drain tube.

clogged radiator meaning that do i have to change the whole radiator or other cheaper method? cuz i replaced my fan switch and thermostat few mths back. thanks ah pek :)

Yes..in this case..have to change radiator liao. You buy from Chiong Ail..FJT whatever..otherwise I find lobang for you.

Honda spare parts can get from Eversuccess at Little India if you intend to fix it yourself.

hi all,

 

recently wen i was riding on pie wen suddenly there is this loud bang (think it shld be backfire) and the HISS light came on for a blink or 2 den disappear. front the time i saw the light on and off, i dunno if my bike got stall or not. cos wen i open throttle again, it was still running. i mean wen i heard the loud bang i did close throttle.

 

anyone encounter this problem? could it be batt problem cos i don ve a volt meter to monitor. or could it be other problem??

Hi all, i dunno if anyone encounter this problem or not. I was riding my spec 1 as usual on the eway around 90km/h in the morning. Halfway thru, i trottle but there is no response and my bike begins to sound very weird (like how a 2b 2stroker sound when its pistons seized). Have it towed to bike shop. Went to the shop the next day, mech start and ride the bike, everything seems perfectly ok out of a sudden. Explained to him the situation experienced the morning before, even he is clueless.

 

Anyone experienced the same situation before? :)

ah pek, i was shown that the 'neck' of the radiator cap underneath the tank got a crack and lead to leakage whenever i rev my throttle, cost ard $30 to replace the cap 'neck' and ard $20 to replace a new maxima cool aide coolant.

is the price reasonable or kanna chop liao??

 

funny thing is that the reserve coolant tank is very full and the radiator is empty, i tot is suppose to flow into the radiator when not enough inside.??

i got a similar experience is that when i was picking up speed, suddenly the oil lamp light 'ON' and the whole bike jerk and no response, i bring to a shop and the mech suppect is the top EO sensor malfunction. after getting replaced, it still sometime occur during engine not warmed up.

The price is reasonable lah. Have to consider mototiam business ppl got to spend money and keep things in stock and provide whenever needed for customer convience. How often does one change a part like your radiator neck piece..moreover, there are so many varity of bikes make and models.

Yes..it should be this way. Your leak is thru the neck where there is a sucking hose link to it to your reserve tank. Since there is a crack there..there is no suction from the radiator as it vaccumm pressure that does the sucking is sucking air thru the neck rather then a full close loop to the reserve tank. That is why ur radiator dried up and the reserve tank coolant remain stalemate. A simple example..its like sucking your drink from a full glass with a puncture hole along on the straw near your mouth. Hope this helps explain ur doubts.:sian:

I see i see. At first my bike can start but cant move and sounded very weird and loud. Thought its pistons seized. Haha. Thanks for the info anw. :)

Oh sorry i dint noticed if my temp light got light up or not. I went to Hua Chin (Ah Koon) to changed afew hoses. I forgot the price but i think should be $100 or so. So far no more leaking since then.
