can someone kindly advice me on best air pressure for my pair of rubbers?

both KPA & PSI unit measurements given would be a benefit! =D

my rubber model - A12

my preference - more grip for the fun of bends =D

It's not about the power or speed or how fast your ride goes but the time & effort spent to achieve something different

Have to press and hold the button to reset the mileage. Should be the button on top (or is it on the left? Can't remember offhand... Must look at my bike. haha)

But its hard for me to press that tiny button. What I usually do is to use my pen to poke (and hold on) to reset the mileage.

Not sure if this is suitable for your rubber model.

My settings: 250 for the front, 280-290 for the back. (I usually pump 290 for the back cause of frequent pillion-ing)

My riding style is usually conservative, so for more fun (or aggressive) corning, etc, I guess you can try 245 (front) and 280 (back). (My rough guess. Other riders pls correct if I'm wrong)

(Lesser air / softer tires should mean more grip. But at the same time, under-inflated tires wear out faster. You need to find The Balance...)

From Honda's manual:

The motorcycle presents you a challenge to master the machine, a challenge to adventure. You ride through the wind, linked to the road by a vehicle that responds to your commands as no other does...

woah! i used to pump 270 or 265 rear cos i scared my rubber burst.

and 230-240 front =X

that explains why my A11s were so sticky that it peels..ahaha

oh.. My mistake. I went to my bike and realised it should be the button on the right, to reset the mileage. Have been pressing it for like a hundred times. But cannot remember offhand. haha

haha, it does take quite a bit of courage and confidence when you first start to pump 290 into your rear tyre. Cause like, for normal cars, the pressure is about 200 to 240 max only.

How did u guys get such good mileage huh?

Mine only 280 or sometimes less then went into reserve already.

My riding style is like this:

I will almost always ride at 120km/hr-130km/hr at every chance i can get.

I always change gear at high RPM cause i like the sound of it.:cheeky:

What r ur opinions on this?

Well i know this matter had been discussed umpteen times before but i think its good for a little reminder every now and then.

you like to rev so high and travel and higher speed, then you get poorer fuel consumption. change too low and travel low speed to me, its like not letting your engine exercise also no good.

Rat bike - A motorcycle not necessarily kept in pristine condition, often painted matt black. Minimal maintenance and mismatched parts often used.
