Last I known of it was about $150-$160 for original hoses with coolant refilled (make sure they don't use tap water to mixed except distilled unless they use prmixed coolant). If you into silicon type like from brand SAMCO etc..cost a lot more.

thanks thanks... any shop to intro ??

GUys anyone can enlightened me here? My bike rear wheel bearing just burst. Went to a reputable shop to change the bearings and the seal( mech say rusty already). After the repair my bike was ok except for the brake. Realised that it became very hard to press and there very little free play. Went back to the shop mech says its normal only not used to it. Pump abit will get to normal but until now still hard no matter how much i pump. Issit air go inside or wat? Do i need to bleed my rear brake? Bcoz before this there was no problem

i got my battery at planet at $65. Ah chong told me its number 9 (lousy type), our stock battery is number 10. Dunno what does these numbers meant though.

I cant really remember the price, but i think he mentioned number 10 battery is about $150.

if you went to the shop just to repair the wheel bearings, i think there shouldnt be any difference to the brakes. I suspect when the mech put back your wheel or the brake caliper, maybe he didnt put back properly. perhaps alignment out or something else.

you should go back and make a scene and make sure they solve the problem. if not, over time, it may cause more problems.

just my opinion. but since you mentioned its a reputable shop, maybe you can trust them. :thumb: anyway, can pm me the shop name ? haha

Here's the way it's supposed to work. When the fluid gets hot, it expands a little (not really too much, but a little), and some of it flows into the reservoir. When the radiator cools off, it sucks a little fluid back in. If you get an air bubble in your coolant, that will expand a lot when it gets hot. The air will bubble out to the reservoir and leave the system. But when the system cools off, the radiator will suck coolant in to replace the air that was in the system. A little tiny bit of air will remain in the system, since you can't get every bit of it out, but most of it will be gone after a couple of heat/cool cycles. So your radiator should stay full all the way to the top, just like a car. Car and motorcycle cooling systems work exactly the same way, so you should see the same type of behavior in both.

research and found this.

now my reservoir is empty, so i just need to top up my reservoir only?

hey guys, need some help here.

recently when i start my bike, occasionally it will have a "tick tiak" sound when pressing the start engine button.

when the sound occurs, the bike is unable to start. but on the second or third press, the bike is able to start.

but sadly, todae morning, after riding 15mins and i off the engine and start it back 1 mins later, the bike doesn't start up.

the "tick tiak" sound happened again and tis time 6-7 times pressing still unable to start my bike.

pushing it to a side and tis time round, it is able to start.

the sound comes from some where near the fuse area.

so guys, ani idea wat could be the problem?

thanks

i met an accident and the impact point is the front tyre. im just worried after the mechanic rebuild it, it may never be the same again :(

No matter big bike or small bike, once you can't stop, you're still a fallen bike. :sian:
