Fixed my bike wiring and stuff. total was RM 80 plus switches for my light and radiator.

 

Now it got me thinking, would turning on my LED trips, Fog Light, Radiator, and Headlight altogether affect my bike?

when i turned everything on (in an ideal touring situation), my voltage went to a low of 11.6V. if i off the LED strip and foglight, it will be 12.3V

 

Anyone can comment on this?

Do i need a bigger ampere battery?

 

sounds like ur coil is like mine before i changed..it couldnt go more than 12V...and went as low as 10V..after that..itll charge my batt sometimes..and sometimes dont..

 

as with my coil..2 out of 16-17 terminals of the coiled copper wires were totally badly burnt to crisp..it was black..so i guess its time to change ur coil..

 

same here..in addition to like to ask, when i park my bike on the side stand, my fuel gauge would show 2 bar below my bike upright position..isit normal ? thx

 

its perfectly normal..not only S4..even rxz or other bike models also sometime liddat...so ur true gauge would be in upright position..dont panic if u side stand then it shows reserve already..

and i'm looking for a high ampere battery, though i hope its not too expensive like the one you suggested.

anyone of u using the front cheapo aftermarket flower kind of disc rotor? is it good? i almost had another minor accident yest due to my braking. i already changed brake pads and bleed. and still my bike is making that screeching sound. is it my disc rotor or my brake pump? feels like when braking my bike only got grip on one side.

u already said u almost had a minor accident,and still y wan buy cheapo disc?anyway check your both caliper when the brake is squeeze is both piston pushing out?since u say it feel that u only brake one side,the other side might be stuck with dirt etc.

yeah there is higher ampere type,for racing type.half the weight of our normal battery and size.it cost $230 with shipping.

today just went to change front wheel bearing and oil seal @ planet ~

seems like my steering bearings and the swing arm bearings are dying too ~_~

 

i did ask the mech if there's 90bucks coil as i changed mine coil @ amk int park for $288 the mech @ planet told me most likely u got a 2nd hand coil ? he said they also got sell 2nd hand coil @ about that price ^^ll

Hw much did u chane the bearing for?

 

$44 , with 2 oil seal ~

 

after changing the bearings and oil seals ~

my front will have loud squealing sound while traveling @ low speed

~____~ wat happen ?

if i press front break lightly the sound will be gone for awhile ~_~

coil for 90 bucks???not sure..to tell u the truth..last time i changed my x1 magnet coil for $125...so from obvious reasons...a 400cc coil must be more costly than a 110cc right?hmm..original cost about $300+..OEM about 200..urs either 2nd hand or ...local made...

hi guys, just wanna enquire something on my spec 2 that was bought recently... I found out that my fan wasn't working when i turn on the ignition. Is this normal?

 

And where can I actually found the safety labels for the oil tank?

The fan will onli turn on when it reached high temperture which is control by the senor beside the left of the radiator

wah. serious? mine changed at Planet. Bike so far is fine. too much gadgets on my bike. hahahaha. Anyone knows if can put the Bol 'Dor Headlight and fairing on spec 1? how much?

oo planet huh..haha..bout that..i think a couple of pages back on this one thread i forgot got mention about it..check out cosmetics and mods or lighting...got a few ppl asked..its about a thousand plus for the whole thing with installation i think...if im not wrong ah..try check it out.

OK, I can't find manuals for these 400s in my model, so let me ask. What kind of physical differences are there between the Version S and the NC36 (in my situation, a 1998 Version S and a 1997 CB400)? They look very similar.

 

I laid my Ver. S down and bent the frame. There is a 1997 NC36 for a really cheap price with good plastics and frame, so I'm thinking of swapping them out. Is this possible?

 

(To be honest, I'm not sure if it will be cost effective - I'm still weighing my options.)

oh ya btw, where can i find the "H.I.S.S" sticker that is normally pasted on the tank itself? together with another safety label below "H.I.S.S" sticker.

i think u take a pic of it,then go to any sticker shop(juzzwheel,219 etc) they shld be able to do for you.

hey guys, i need help. riding a revo. lately my bike will need 3 cranks then can start. sometimes 1 crank is enough. and my metre swing 2 times. i want to know your feedback bfore i go to shop. is it battery? or coil? or sparkplugs? i dont think its spark plugs since its only 10 k and im using iridium. any advice will be much appreciated

Hey Guys, Need some help.Now Every morning my right side engine very noisy. normally start bike, 2 mins warm up the sound gone liao. Now 10 mins warmup also no use, need to ride for awhile then the sound gone. must be the clutch housing rite ? anything that i can do to minimise the noise ?

go to the clutch and sprocket thread..a few pages back..they were talking about clutch housing..

How old is your bike? how long have you been riding?

 

my bike this july will be 3 years bro. bought it 2nd hand last yr april. i changed iridium spark plugs straight after i bought the bike. but i dont know if the battery have changed or not.
